Q: Which game version it is in your video?
A: It's Skyrim LE (original Skyrim, not the Special Edition). Skyrim LE is better for modding (better ENB visuals for graphics, more gameplay mods, better stability and no mod-breaking CC updates).

Q: What PC specs are needed to run same/similar mod list?
A: Not such a NASA PC as you may think! GTX 980/1070, i5 6600, 12GB+ RAM. If your specs are +/- close to these, you can run literally the same graphics setup on 1080p at 60 fps. Just follow my guide linked above, and you'll be perfectly fine :)

@@SINISTERx0007 2 years with breaks of modding this game :P I think for newbie it should be easier to mod SE because it is more stable with x64 engine as well as mods are newer rather crash free. On the other hand Oldrim has much more mods but it takes time to mod it. Use Sinitars website to jump into fine list of mods.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is the only game that I repeatedly playing. Every time that you show new mod I repeat playing using especially the immersive mods. (Survival).

Great mod. I like playing alternate start as a wood elf, selecting the farm offered as a home, then playing the tundra hunter. It offers a different approach to playing the game.

about a week or two ago I started a new Skyrim VR playthrough with the idea of becoming a hunter first on the planes of whiterun then the rest of skyrim and used ineed and taxes to make a more survival based realistic game where I'd have to barely scrape by on the money front, so I'd be more inclined to do stuff by myself instead of paying for it, but Hunterborn fucked that on literally the first ingame day, because I went out looking for rabbits or deer or something, literally anything. accidentally stumbled into a giants camp using all of my arrows, careful cover and sprinting with my tail between my legs all the way back to whiterun to have the guards kill a giant chasing me i managed to kill both giants and later their mammoth by hiding in a bush and ontop of rocks, I looted the giants, spent more than AN ENITRE INGAME DAY skinning and harvesting the mammoth and sold all the stuff I made out of its leather and stuff, making like 5k in my first day as a homeless man in rags living in a tent next to the khajiit caravans. I also had 125 mammoth roasts which would feed me for like 2 months with my iNeed settings. I can't really blame Hunterborn for that cause it was really the way i wanted to play and accidentally having to wipe a giant camp at level 1 that screwed it but I'm still a little pissed. also I got enough from killing and processing the mammoths materials to level me up to 5th from just one encounter.

As an alternative to Time Passes, I recommend SkyrimSouls which simply unpauses the game when you enter any menu. Reading a book while on the carriage (Touring Carriages)? The carriage will keep moving. Opened the inventory in combat? Bandits will keep hitting you.

Touring Carriages is broken, outdated, unsupported mod. Never use it.

I never liked survival mods, but I feel like without them, my saves only get to around 40 hours before I'm maxed out with a ton of gold. My favorite part of Skyrim is combat, but mods like Wintersun are converting me over to a more immersive playthrough. I currently have 350+ mods installed. Gameplay is vastly different to vanilla and now I'm looking forward to longer builds. Thanks for this video.

I just got a PC. I have played Skyrim since it came out on Xbox 360. When I got it for Special Edition specifically for the mods. Now with PC I can download more than 150 mods. I love the fact I have a GTX 2060. Running 2020 Parallax 4k textures and no loss in FPS. I've been modding it for days but it's always my go to. I play it more than any other game.

First of all, just in case - it's LE, not SE. Interiors in SE ENB presets are usually just hideous. Nothing besides that tho. Rudy vanilla, latest version.

4:09 Imperials & stormcloaks ruin immersion of frostfall if you don't mod their armor. You bundle yourself with fur, gloves, dry yourself, camp, stay at inn etc., and the guards just waltz in skirts, short sleeves and sandals during rain pour, blizzard or any cold weather. I think it's a must to mod the guards for the frostfall to work.

You shouldn't mod SE in first turn if you want best possible modded results - it's inferior to LE in everything about modding - worse ENB graphics, less mods, worse stability + CC "updates". Mod LE and be happy :)

When I play Skyrim I always use a rule (not a mod, since there is no mod like that) called "Untrustworthy Potions" - I never ever pick up potions from the ground, enemies or unlocked chests as enemies could have set up a trap for me - make a potion that looks like its beneficial but it's actualy a deadly poison. This fixes my economy completely up to lvl ~40 since I have to buy all my potions from merchants.

If im honest the Taxes stuff isnt that realistic for a medieval RPG. Majority of the money states made then was from trade. Modern house taxes and sutch wasnt that mutch of a thing in the medieval period especally the early medieval period which Elder Scrolls seems to depict the most.

I followed the steps to download Rudy on SE and whenever I draw my weapon/magic/fists/etc indoors it makes everything shiny and white around New to this and dunno if you know about this

Your issue has nothing to do with ENB. Now, actaully follow the guide. And even better- LE guide, due to LE being much better in everything for modding.

Awesome video!! Will try! As of today, what's better for this guide, Legendary or Special edition? Does it even matter? Guide says LE is better then SE, but most recent results state the contrary. I have a still well functioning gtx 780. Any help would be appreciated since i already wasted days screwing my game up, just made a fresh reinstall.

Yes, LE is absolutely superior to SE in modding, in everything. And moreover, for an low-end PC, there's no sense to waste your already limited resources of video memory on useless and badly made "hq" textures that SE has by default. Follow the guide. Slowly and carefully. Be happy :)

The problem with survival in Skyrim is that the game was never designed with these factors in mind in the first place.What i mean is that: -characters will not have different clothing depending on the region, you can see a stormcloak/legion in a clothing without sleeves in frozen regions. -the world map is too feature packed, so you rarely are into real wilderness. Usually a 2-3 minutes of jogging will take you to a settlement, and other locations like crypts and points of interests are even more tightly packed. The survival in skyrims with associated mods is more of a LARPing experience, rather than true gameplay obstacle that you will have to cunningly overcome and plan your gameplay.

I'm not oredering anyone to use NMM. That's just my choice :) NMM is "simple yet effective", MO is "mod manager on steroids, but needs learning curve" - use any of these two.

Yes - but Skyrim SE is inferior to LE in modding capabilities anyway - much worse ENB graphics, still much less mods in total and worse stability in general when modded.

And? You thought its better because 64 > 32? Now welcome to reality: its worse in everything. Less mods, frequent crashes and worse general stability, inferior graphics. The more you know :)

@@SinitarG Well, it's supposed to be more stable and supports 64-bit machines (which pretty much every PC uses these days) better. I played the Oldrim too back then, and I admit I had my doubts about switching to the Special Edition. But it turned out well, except for save game crashes after dozens of hours, which I think also happens to Oldrim (?). One example of SE's advantage is back in Oldrim, if I minimized to desktop more than twice, it would ctd. This doesn't happen in Special Edition.

I don't have time to repeat myself. Whatever issies you had in LE, you had them because of inattentive or improper modding practices. That's all.

I think all these "survival" mods make the game more boring and tedious than fun. I used to have Frostfall in my load order few years ago, but when I realised, that it takes too much of my time and patience to play Skyrim, I deleted it and it was fun to play Skyrim again. Imho better play other games like The Long Dark for survival experience, Skyrim is primarily a game about clearing dungeons and looting, not making a campfire for every 2 or 3 minutes
