Snake-use caution: If you’re going to leave on the back plastic piece (like he did), do NOT let the snake rub against it, because that will grind it down and cause it to leak.

(i’m not a plumber) i did this just now and dumped over 5 gallons of dirty sink water onto the floor. but the U pipe was FILLED with food so i found the problem. and the new solution is lots of towels.
IF u have a DW Mobile home like i do DO NOT USE A PLUNGER, My CLOTHS WASHER DRAIN line is in concert w/SINK drain...., i actually MADE IT WORSE, had raw sewage coming out washer drain pipe,,,,,,Either call a plumber now or go under the house, ive augered at BOTH washer and sink NH..
I have had my house since 1982. My kitchen drain has clogged many times. For about twenty years we rented the house out. My current solution is to remove the last under the sink white pipes and place a home device to the waste line thread male drain pipe.using a female white 1 1/2 connector. The other end has a female hose pipe hose connector pipe. When all connected, I turn the hose on. If I have to I will run it to the hot water tank. It has worked several time for me.
DON'T THROW AWAY YOUR GREASE DOWN YOUR DRAINS!!!! When grease cools, it solidifies. Especially cooked grease. Always use an empty container, 2L bottle, gal jug, empty oil bottle, or something you can seal and then throw it away. If any grease does go down the drain chase it with a LOT of hot water. Regular hot water may not be enough to really do it, so you may end up needing to boil some water in a large pot.

That had to be new funk for a plumber have to say something. The one's that I have seen never say anything about smell maybe the amount of the backup but never the smell so that was beyond funky ❗
In my family we would run hot water down the drain with the grease it actually worked the last time we had to get a clog out was when my father dropped ????? Down the drain he would tell us and I couldn't see it
Literally just unclogged my slow draining Sink in the bathroom, not in the bathtub, but in the hand washing tub, Cleaned the underneath entirely by taking it out one by one. Afterwards, I noticed that my filter was completely clogged on the sites etc. where its hard to see. Cleaned it out, runs like a charm now.
not one to say much but why the hell did ya not take off the last 90* bend and run the snake straight in ? no doing this can stress the fitting and maybe cause it to snap depending on the age??
It’s glued together bro. This guys does tons of different jobs that’s not just plumbing, you’d have to cut off some pipe that’s connected the 90 to have a straight run. He probably didn’t have the stuff to put it back together. Either way he got the job done.
@garykrell2058 that's not true! I zoomed in and there is definitely a hand threaded nut on the last elbow about 10 to 12 inches or so from the neck!!!!
