Worked for me too on a SereneLife storage box chest type combo with 4 digits. I had set a new code and then forgot to send it to myself and this worked. I had to go up a different number of times (6 instead of 5) or maybe I misinterpreted where the notch was, but regardless, got it open. Thanks so much!
Whoever can't see the indentation: close one eye look for it. Worked for me. The suit case was very old and torch on the lock was reflecting too much light.
Thank you! Lol I have a diversion book safe as part of an escape game and I lost the combo! This worked for me first try but it was even simpler than his process. I used my flash light and sort of pulled each dial to the right for a better view and noticed there was a line next to one # on each dial and those unlocked it!
Didn't quite work for me, but the lock I was trying to open was kinda similar, and this gave me the things to look for to try on it and eventually I got it! Thanks!
THANKYOU!! It worked!! I forgot the code to my suitcase and I tried every combination that I could think of but none of them worked. I was this close to trying all 1000 combinations but before I did so I stumbled apon this video and let's just say it saved my time and sanity 😅
Thanks so much for this. Locked my key in my work truck and the spare was behind a combo I didn't know and couldn't get ahold of my boss. Took me 45 min guessing and 30 seconds after watching this. You're my hero lol
This is an typical example of the lock 'key' (indentation) being on the opposite number for the combination, SO the '0-0-0' should be the first one to test. Secondly, resetting the numbers keeps the 'key' in place whilst a different number is set opposite the 'key'. Simples !
This worked but not first time, I could see the indentations on the dial inside, but 5 up from that didn't work, then I saw another video where the person identified the 'tell' number using the corner of some thin card slid to the left of the dials pushing each number until it moved the dial, once he did this for all 3, he then went through the whole row moving it one at a time until he found the combination, his was 6 above the tell numbers, mine was also 6, the indents were behind 7,2 & 9, my code was 385
My book has a lock and I forgot how to unlock it. All of the important stuff was inside it and when I watched this video, I tried it and it actually worked thanks a million! 🙂🙂🙂
