Can you jump firmware if it’s been a while. With the whole kernel upgrade should you go one by one? I jumped on my goggles they bricked so scared to jump but I don’t know what firmware I have.

What about walksnail avatar VRX, so the new external module. Should I also use the ground files to update it or is there a different way to update it?

So after you do this you connect the vrx to a hdmi screen and add power and its ready right?

You need to bind it to your goggles or vrx after you give it power from your drone

Quick question: would i need to remove the previous release firmware from the vtx file on the computer and if so would i need to reformat before adding the new one. Thanks

You shouldn't have a need to format it, you can simply bring all of your devices up to the latest firmware

Just bought the moblite7 walksnail but cannot find the info on VTX firmware. I guess this would be the mini-sky. Am I correct?

You should be able to visually identify the VTX. The regular (not mini) has that silver/dark gray casing whereas the mini is just opened up and you can see the circuitry. Open up your drone and it should be very apparent which one you're rockin

Depends on which firmware you're running. Once upon a time the firmware had to match on the vtx and vrx before it linked up. Not anymore

I could't get my vtx update to work. When the led light turns on again after pressing the bind button for 8 seconds, it remains solid red instead of blinking red. My firmware is 26.xx btw.

Did you make sure to install the correct firmware for the hardware you're using? I've never had any problems like that while updating any of mine. Is your bind button defective by chance? Maybe it doesn't press all the way or stays pressed. Not sure what the problem is, sorry I couldn't help much

@@volaertus Problem solved. Updated successfully from 26 to 28, and then 28 to 29, finally 29 to 32. Seems like some update files were just not recognized by a particular version of the installed firmware. This only happens to one of my vtx boards.
