- Connect Your Device Via USB For Any Available Updates

I downloaded the app to my pc but for some reason the app will not open up...it just keeps giving me the option to re install it when I click on it...I tried it on my Mac and windows 10 and did the same for both

friend I bought a flashpaq 8315 and it is version year 2007, I can not download software and the device does not recognize the pc says the device driver is missing. How did you solve? my number phone is 584120102481 whatsaap

After attempting to install the windows software on 2 seperate computers (getting the same error code both times) im left with more questions than answers.

I bought one for my 1998 Chevy k1500 but once I look through the options it’s not there besides 96-2006 full gas truck. And I did buy the right superchip but was wondering if I have to update it first to make it work ???

help, I just installed a flashpaq 8315 for my dodge ram 2500 5.7 hemi year 2006 and when I connect it I load my vehicle data without problem but when I enter the tunning option no preset ones appear, it just says: STOCK .. now try connect it to the pc and there is no driver for this device. help..

The update process is pretty easy. The only thing I dislike is the software doesn't inform you of what was updated. Do I need to reinstall the tuner to my truck?

I would. Treat it like any other software update. you just downloaded new files to it. But to "update" the computer/phone etc it needs to install the update.

I updated my Flashpaq unit. Its not a new unit, i purchased it from Powerteq 1.5 years ago. My vehicle was tuned with it already before the update i just completed. Should i connect it to my truck now and re-tune it? Or does the unit update not change anything on the tunes, just the firmware? Is the tune in the flashpaq unit different/updated after a Update Agent update? Thanks.

Unlocking a device from a vin will require a phone call to our tech support team, but I'm not positive we still support that older device.

Am I even able to update my 2865 flashpaq? It doesn’t show any words when plugged into the vehicle so I figured it needed an update so I followed the “easy” steps to download the updater amd it won’t detect it when I plug it in. I think it might be too old of a model or wrong program but idk and if so why wouldn’t you make it updatable or maybe put it on the website in big words so people can be directed to the right place and not spend hours trying to figure it out…any info will be very helpful so I don’t waist any more of my time on this

PC will be required on our hand held devices. The latest Dashpaq+ and TrailDash 3 however can be updated via built-in WiFi

I have been trying to update my 3825 Flashpaq with spark, but the computer doesn't recognize it. I tried 3 different computers and nothing. I have emailed superchips 3 times and spent my last 3 lunch hours on hold with no answer. This is my 2nd flashpaq, my 3865 works perfectly. looks like I'll be shopping another brand.

Emailed support on Thursday morning. Still haven't heard back. The updater crashes on all 3 PC's I've installed the software on. I'm afraid to even attempted a flash and may be returning the product if they can't even program properly.

I'm running into the same issue, im about to just return and get the diablo sport everyone recommends. I know its all powerteq, but it does make you feel uneasy if the update program wont work.

If I have already tuned my Jeep using FlashPac, do I need to reset my Jeep to factory defaults before upgrading the FlashPac and then setup my Jeep again? Or am I safe just updating the firmware and then re-tuning my Jeep?

Not sure we understand your question? Do you currently have a Flashcal and are looking to upgrade it to the Flashpaq version with performance tuning?

@@OfficialSuperchips No, I currently have a FlashPac that was used by my mechanic when I had my jeep lifted a couple years ago. I don’t think he upgraded the device to the newest firmware when he tuned my Jeep. He mentioned something about me upgrading the firmware if I wanted to. My question is, if my Jeep has already been tuned but I wanted to make sure I have all the latest capabilities, can I upgrade the device’s firmware without resetting my Jeep to factory settings first? For example, can I leave the Jeep tuned, as it is now, upgrade the FlashPac’s firmware and then do any additional tuning on the Jeep, or do I need to set my Jeep to factory settings, upgrade the FlashPac firmware and then re-tune?

@@MarcChristensen You would be able to plug the device into your PC and check it for updates with the software you can download from our website first. If there are updates available, you can download those, and then plug into your Jeep. No need to return to factory settings first.

this device / company is the biggest rip off ever! I purchased this 10 yrs ago and after all these years suddenly stopped working or recognizing my vehicle . I called technical support and was giving the run around . Basically left out high and dry! unacceptable for a $300+ device.
