Excellent Tip Gerald. Indeed, keyboard was no longer working. Good to add: skip all steps (e.g. connecting to Wifi) at the start, then follow your tip, then connect to Wifi, Google, etc.

Please explain how to restore backup from the SD card

I ended up backing up everything to a spare SD card just in case. I followed these instructions and the first thing my tabled did was format the Sd card when the OS started up, glad i saved everything first separately!

@@littlegeniuskids I just re-did the exercise (except the backup bit). Somewhere down near the end of the task is the ability to connect the keyboard (forget exactly where), and you need to READ THAT CLOSELY (because I didn't first time)

I tried on N8000 with its related TWRP and Root file. Works fine but the Spen and Samsung eye detection feature does not work anymore. Any suggestions?

@Orenda Gezellig You will need to find the N8000 version of twrp, Lineage OS, and Gapps. The other stuff is the same since its for your computer to connect to a Samsung device.

At 10:57 when click to open brown TWRP Folder to paste copy of lineage and open_gapps, I notice I don’t already have the white twrps file 1.00 kb there??? Then fast-forward to 12:40 when doing the second step to swipe to confirm flash of open_gapps, it paused around 13:29 and don’t continue, showing a different layout like it says Gigantic OPEN GAPPS and "installing core gapps and tablet shut off. Can’t seem to pass this step. I’m think I’m missing that extra white twrp file on 12:40. I’m clueless and to make things worse, after successfully following all the steps to this point that I’m sure didn’t miss a step, now my tablet doesn’t recognize to even take charge like it use because of the possibility these steps to erase so many instructions, like the instruction to take charge. I know this may be a loss cause already because of an old Samsung tablet. But I hate to trash a perfectly new barely use for years / old scratch-less tablet that could be useful and not go into the dumpster or dumpsite. Any suggestions from successful nostalgic Samsung Tablet users??? Updated. I figure it out. May 22, 2024

I applied the flash to a GT-N8000, it's works just fine. Although on the OS level the device is recognised as a GT-N8010, so cellular 3G may not work. I haven't checked this, as I only use wifi. Completely usable though, give it a crack!

Apart from the original charger, I have used my s20fe charger with good results. So try another Samsung charger if you can.

What the fuck 24hrs 💀💀💀 change your charger and sell your tablet mate it's come to it's end

Mine have the exact same problem but the thing is battery lasts very long (it lasts for at least 3 days) but it takes waaaaay to long to charge. I’m using the original charger i also tried other chargers but nope it doesn’t work.

@@IIIIKaroIIII No lo sé, pero debe haber instrucciones específicas para la 8013, porque en alguna búsqueda me encontré con procedimientos para la 8010. Lo que sí es importante es bajarte los archivos para Odín específicos para cada modelo

@@Thanuraeranga Yes. Of course i also had the problem of typing in the keyword cuz you dont have a keyboard. In the right down corner there is a little symbol to activate the keyboard manually, after you have wifi and logged in into your google Account, you can then download for example swift key from the playstore.

@@Thanuraeranga But.... As far As I can say it now, the extra functions of the pen dont work anymore (the 2 keys on the pen to do a screenshot) and i think that the audio quality of the speakers is a bit worse now (not sure if that is true) but it seems like they sound worse now (30% worse).
