Also- I failed to note that you must disconnect the surface switches on the other side of the PCB! Super easy to simply cut them off if you don’t want to fuss with desoldering.
My left foot switch started malfunctioning, not working or going crazy and cycling through all effects. I found this video and just finished installing these switches. It works great now. Thanks for this!
Sorry I’m just getting to this! - long story short, because it is not switching in a physical circuit since it’s a digital system, all the processor needs is a “indicator” to make the change. In this case, all it needs is for the two wires to touch once to send the change message. Hope that helps!
