Hi brother, has anyone tried a 32gb stick? I'm confused since I have a TUF Dash F15 2021 as well, a fx516pc but Asus support tells me it only supports 24gb instead of the 32gb/40gb that appear on the product's site

question please: I see u installed 2TB NVME from Sabrent is it double sided? any problems in installing a double sided NVME on this model (specially bending)? thinking to put a 4TB NVME on this one

All I did was install a second SSD as my laptop didn't have a second internal storage (Asus proart studio book 16) but when I tried to turn on the computer it went to a blue screen.

I know I am very late for this but I just tried upgrading my ram using a Corsair 32gb 3200mhz DDR4 ram stick and my laptops display won't turn on. It does work when I insert the old ram back in. Would you have any tips or ideas why that's happening?

Pretty sure that the TUF Dash F15 haves DDR5 RAM.

Corsair is not compatible on this laptop even though the specs match the requirements. I tried the 8gb one and the display won't turn on. Then I switched to Kingston Fury and it works fine.

Guys, what is the maximum SSD thickness that'll fit inside the ASUS TUF Dash F15 (FX516PC)? Please help because I can't find an answer for this online. I just need to know the maximum thickness that'll fit. The SSD I'm currently looking at is an ADATA Legend 960 Max 2TB, *with a heatsink* and has the dimensions of 80.6 x 23.2 x 10.65mm (LxWxH). Basically I need to know if 10.65mm will fit and if I'd still be able to close the underside cover.

Which M.2 slot is the one this has generation 4? The one that says “main” that comes with the ssd or the one that comes empty? What happens if I put both ssd of 4 generation? I understand one is 3rd gen and the other one is 4th gen

Temperature is okay arround 45 to 60 degrees when we use at high performance but use cooling pad no issues

i mean its better for gaming but i upgraded my tuf dash with 16gb extra so it has 24 now and the ram usage went to 38% usage after upgrade windows will always use a lot of ram its just how it is

Tengo esta misma laptop, la versión que cuebta con 8GB, entonces ¿Si funciona aplicar una memoria Ram de 32 GB DDR4 3200 mhz? Si funciona... ¿Cual es la marca que recomiendan? Estoy pensando entre una Kingston Fury pero lei que a alguien le funcionó el de Crucial. Si alguien tiene la respuesta, le agradecería mucho si pudieran guiarme con sus propias experiencias de quienes lograron amplair la memoria RAM.

@@CristopherOjeda-z1e Hola chicos, solo les recomiendo que no compren CORSAIR compre dos de esa marca (una de 32gb y otra de 16gb 3200mhz) y ambas me dieron pantalla negra, he dedicado como 6 horas a buscar acerca de este tema y solo he encontrado que las marcas Kingston Fury y Crucial son las que funcionan, pero yo me iria por kingston. ¡Si alguien resuelve avisen por aqui yo regresare las corsair y tratare con las kingston a ver que tal! Mi Laptop es la ""Asus TUF 15 FX516PR-211""

Whenever I upgraded my ssd and I tried connecting the battery connector back in its place, it kept sparking. I've noticed my fps to drop and causing input lag. Does that mean I have to get another battery?

Make sure the laptop is fully turned off, and get like, a cloth or use your sleeve to fully push it back in. You should be fine for the most part. Make sure you’re also set to high performance for your power plan and keep it plugged in at all times.

I just opened mine up right now 🐁 I thought it has 2 slots but it has only one 8 gb and one is soldered! 🌴 🏔 I was going to buy another 16 gb but such a disappointment that it doesn’t run like that! 🐁 Especially I paid $1699 + tax for mine and it got lowered to $1499 in just ~3 - 4 months! 🦀 I guess I’ll just leave as it and buy a brand new one in the future! 🏔 🐁 🌴 Rescue all animals 🐁

@@jeom0498 How can you get it for only $966 Mine has i7-11375H and an RTX 3070 I even emailed them and spoke to them on the phone complaining about the price drop in just ~2 - 3 months and they wouldn't give me back my $200 Especially I love Asus and checked their site almost everyday and I even ordered the laptop even before their system sent out emails stating that the laptop is released I told them that and they still wouldn't give me the $200 back.. sigh... 🐇
