I’ve been using Distrokid kid since the jump. Just got my first music video, now I’m ready to upload it. This content definitely helped answer my question on the legitimacy of distrovid. I'm about late asking this but I'mma hit u with it anyway. The RU-vid videos with the vevo tag on them, how do they do it? Do you first upload on RU-vid and then later after they have distributed your music videos on vevo, that's when it automatically changes on RU-vid or what?

distrovid won't let me upload 16:9 videos. it says it needs to have a aspect pixel ratio of 1:1. so what can I do to upload a 16:9 video? a square 1:1 video makes no sense to me.

Yup! And it hardly took anytime to get there. And to answer your question, it’s purely up to you. But it won’t cause any issue to have it uploaded to your RU-vid and VEVO

I think why not just upload to RU-vid I know I’m not watching music videos on apple, Tidel or Spotify I use them for streaming after I see a video on RU-vid, IG and RU-vid. I think VEVO is cool if your an bigger artist just my opinion
