Gayle from BERNINA of Naperville shows you how to use the bernette 79 or bernette 70 embroidery machines to stitch out an embroidery design. The design is additionally amazing because it shows you how to stitch applique in the embroidery.
Hi Gayle, I'm new to machine embroidery, and have just got the Bernette B70 Deco, and your video is by far the most helpful one I've found so far for seeing how to actually do things. Thank you so much!!
Thanks for this. I haven’t used the bernina website yet. I just load straight to my usb drive. Im glad you showed how to put the fabric in the design. I haven’t done that yet. Im going to make something for my dad for Father’s Day.
I hope this isn't a dumb question, but are you having to manually hold the foot down for it to stitch or does it just go and prompt when it's time to change color? Thank you for this great video
No foot control for this embroidery. You press the green button to start and stop. And the embroidery is like paint by number. It finished one color, then stops for you to retread. Then push the green button again to start the machine
Stabilizer depends on what you are doing. You may find this site helpful support.embroideryonline.com/en-US/articles/embroidery-101-38725 I use OESD Bobbinfil 90% of the time.
I forgot to post the link a few months ago. Hope the edge to edge quilting embroidery is still needed. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-aUlnDNFHgNA.html
@@gaitedgirl85 you can use the 50wt aurifil. It’s fuzzy due to the fact that it’s cotton. Recommended thread is a 40wt poly. But as long as you like the end result that is all that matters.
Thank you so much for this video! I can't get my module to position onto the machine. every time I click the icon in settings to calibrate, the arm moves all the way to the right and then starts to tremble and the screen shows the insert module in with the errors. Please help!
@@jrlproductions461 it sounds like the module may have bumped something. Make sure that you needle is in the highest position and that your machine has plenary of space to the back of it and front.

My mom gave me her Bernette Chicago 7 when she upgraded. I have a mac that doesn't have the capability to insert a disk so I haven't been able to upload the embroidery software customizer. Do you know of anyway I could download it? Thanks!
If you have a port replicating program on you max like parallels or bootcamp, those allow you to install a windows operating system. Otherwise, you need to go with ToolBox which has a 30 day free trial. www.bernina.com/en-US/Software-US/Embroidery-Software/BERNINA-Toolbox
