Highlight cell rules
Select the cells where you want to apply a style. Being in the home tab, click on the conditional formatting button, HERE.
Now click on the highlight cell rules. Here let’s choose the first option: by clicking on the Greater than. Also you can press the letter G on the keyboard. A new window is opened. Here you need to set up 2 things: 1- The number that marks the point after which the style appears; and 2- the style you want to apply.
In the first field I will type 400. That means that the rule will apply to cells with numbers greater than 400. Let’s select the style we want to apply for this rule. Of the options available choose the one you want or create a custom style. I will select the green fill with dark green text style. Then click ok. And that’s it!
As you can see the new style is applied just in the cells where the rule applied. If you change or write new data, the rule will still apply unless you change the rule.
