I have their snail mucin cleanser & I like it. I don't think you need toner & essence though, especially if you double cleanse which I do at night. Once I finish up my Klavuu toner & my Neutrogena toner, I plan on switching to an essence & it's gonna be their snail mucin essence. I heard that ppl with dry skin should use an essence instead of a toner, so I'm gonna follow that advice.

In my opinion this is better than a cleanser. You wash cleansers OFF. This gets absorbed into your skin and gets rid of imperfections.

The snail mucin, both cream and essence basically provide hydration, vitamin c is an anti oxidant ( fights free radicals, helps brighten the skin etc) so you see they do different jobs… it all depends on what you want to achieve. As for the wash, any adult can use the vitamin c body wash.

If i use a retinol (retinol from la roche posay) when do i apply what? I have a cleanser, a toner, then I usually do retinol and moisturizer (currently vichy 89 but I’m almost finished with it so i will be trying neutrogena water gel)(this is my nighttime routine). And for the morning i use cleanser, toner, moisturizer and sunscreen (all the same products, sunscreen is uvmune from lrp too). I wanted to try this cosrx mucin essence (and maybe their sunscreen too) but i don’t know where to incorporate it in my routine exactly. Hopefully you see this, thanks!💓

You need to find out the exact product that caused you to break out, if you feel it’s the cosrx, then stop using it as it may not be suitable for you, also ensure you are cleansing your face and doing your routine morning and night

Both are essence, there’s isn’t any point using the two in the same routine, it’s like drinking still water after sparkling water vice versa. In other words, you can alternate them in your routine, water is enough to dampen your face before using any.

Hii, I am currently repairing my skin barrier with hyperpigmentation on face specially around mouth. I cleanse my face, apply 2% kojic acid and 1% alpha arbutin and niacinamide in one serum form, wait for 5 - 10 min, than I damp my face with plain water spray, apply hyalornic acid and then corsx mucin essence. I finish it up with sunscreen 50 spf. Am I doing any step wrong here? I have just started doing my skin care

i have niacinamide and hyaluronic acid serums so should i use both after the snail mucin or do either go before? btw you are gorgeous 💗

Snail mucin contains Hyaluronic acid, there’s no need using your Hyaluronic acid serum and snail slime in the same routine ( save the Hyaluronic acid serum for when the snail mucin is finished) you can use the snail slime on damp skin first the follow with your niacinamide.
