I have to use lined drapes year round otherwise the sun heats up my living room until about 2 pm, and then it never cools down. I'd much prefer something airy however.

I have so many ideas to share, but not much room so here is a couple that you can start on right away! Go shopping in your house or a garage sale for items that you like, and paint them the color that you want in your home. I took a mishmash of vases, candle holders, knick-knacks and painted them all off-white in my office, turned the books with the pages turned out facing the room, added a few greens and it totally looks like a designer office! You can do the same with furniture. I also use a lot of pillow covers 50% off from Hobby Lobby and create the look I want with my old pillows. Thank you for watching!

I have to ask....is brass outdated? She said the light fixture was outdated and I have my eye on one, but it's brass. If not brass then what???

Hi, Donna! There is a new brass that is "in", the really shiny 90's brass is what is "out"- there are some awesome looking newer brass fixtures out there now. Thank you for watching!
