Some of the prices of these really add up, even if they are only $1.25. Plus if you don't already have the glue and paint that's costly. Some of these would be cheaper to buy them make.
As a fellow creative I just watch creative videos to inspire me to create my own projects. This is a great inspiration 😊thank you! God had made us all to create, so just get out there and make something and feel a great sense of satisfaction 💕
People this creative should work as set designers/ decorators for Hollywood. their creations look like a million bucks, but cost hardly anything to fabricate. 😍
I have been wanting to make this project for a while for sewing supplies and beading supplies, but I do not know if you have noticed or not, not all the boxes are the same size. Same at Michael's. Their butterfly fronts are all a different size. I started putting my Dollar Tree boxes together and noticed that and it makes it wonky. So if you buy them while your at the store match them up good before you get home. I never try to give advice but, for these I hope it's ok.
Many of these on this video were new I had not seen before and others were repeats from Hometalk but that is ok too because a couple I have wanted to make but forgot that you need this or that. I enjoy these very much as many are budget friendly. I love crafts but I do not make a lot of money. I live in a high housing area my rent is very high my utilities are not included but most of these projects I can afford. Fondly, Rebekah in VA
I have watched a lot of these and love most of them. Then we have the one lady that does the same thing everytime. Paper towel holder, fake flowers, fake jewels. Every. Single. Time!!!
Can anyone tell me if there is a place you can get the full video on how to do the ones you like ? It's so fast I can't tell what there using. They look great!
That's amusing considering the overall price for some would be more expensive than just buying an end product. Like a lamp, just buy a cheap one rather than buying all the little pieces to make one, especially considering they used so many bowls to make it 💀
you are ingenious but honestly you can find plenty of those things for diy projects at a thrift store . That would save on the cost and litterally recycle at the same time but thnx for the ideas.
hometalk has some brilliant ideas.... but they are laced into worn out ideas lol if I have 5 hometalk videos saved, at least half of the ideas in those are repeated. It would be really awesome if they didn't splice in old ideas to new videos. Hometalk bloat is fillin up my playlists xD
Way too quick. These are clips from other RU-vidrs. You're just slapping them together without given credit to the people who came up with these ideas.
These are good ina pinch but, you could probably find a lamp already second hand and paint for less time and effort. I did like the center piece with the roses, etc.
@@surpriseme1082 China is where everything comes from that you're buying, My husband works at a place that makes stoves they're all US made, but all their parts come from China, don't be stupid
True Robin Hoods & Joan of Arch's for the consumers. So creative & helpful with FUN. Amazingly over the top diys that makes me proud of my creativity work instead of shopping for like items. Really cool & thank 🫵. Bless🙏ngs
The headboard idea is interesting. The bath mat looks dangerous. The lighting / flower fixtures look great. The organizer with drawers is cute. The cutting board shelf system is wow! Also? That's a lot of material to purchase - between the supplies and items needed to put it all together. It does give you ideas, though. All in all? It's way too fast, and looks like a compilation of other videos that have been sliced together for this video. Where is the credit for the videos so that one could go there and get the list of items needed and watch the videos at leisure / better pace?
I like the greenhouse deco. I'll try that. The rest is cheaper when You buy stuff at a thrift store or yard sale with glass etc and not all that plastic.
Boy I am truly happy. Hap hap happy. But I found your site. I am over-the-moon excited with the things that you can do. I hope that I can do you proud just by pulling off one of your many talents. Thank you so much for sharing with us your Many-Splendored things!!! 😘
Sorry, my bad…some of it is Dollar Tree. Just saw the shelf label at 6:50 in the video. But the wire baskets and fence pieces and floral stuff is all Dollarama - whose items now go up to $5. They either need to change their name or drop their prices back down to at least under $3. Most of their stuff is in the $4-5 range which pisses me off. Dollar Tree is a MILLION times cheaper!!
I applaud your creativeness and ingenuity, but you've got to start using other glues beside hot glue! One day you'll come home after a heatwave and find everything you've made falling apart! When you're gluing wood together, use titebond wood glue, NOT hot glue! And some materials require you to do some surface preparation so glue will stick instead of just coming off soon!
I'm going to bet that due to the cheap items in the video, if the house catches fire, it will burn to the ground before the Fire Department gets there!
Hometalk, when you do these videos, could you please list who it is also so we can go view the actual instructions in real time? This has been said before by others. Are you paying attention to the viewer comments? I'm sure the original creator of the project would love getting more viewers (thumbs 👍🏾)directly to their channel. Come on, Hometalk, do right and do better.
The ideas are cute I will agree with that. Yes, it would be nice if you could slow it down just a little. The only thing I think you must do is change...the…music!!!!!!!! I'm sorry I had to watch the remaining few minutes with the sound all the way down.
