It would be nice if you could add a way of holding the book so that it won't be moved accidentally. As I saw in another videos, you need to center the book manually so that the middle line fits exactly with the middle of the scanned image. This is not ideal if the book is moved, when you turn the pages. I guess some kind of clip to hold the cover would be good.

Using the Shine800 A3 Pro on a Windows 10 computer. How can I resize the window? It always opens full screen. I have a big 4k montior, and would like to use a smaller window size for this software. Thanks.

a thinks you need to add laser scan option , because some book and manuscripts need this fonction to got more information languange and some algorithm can get to solve some problem traduction and digitalized

diybookscanner.org can scan large document sizes. It is a much larger DIY scanner kit with removable cameras. It holds the pages flat and doesn't rely on software for that.

@@mikha007 It's not a scam. They have software online. The scanner has issues. Low resolution, software, inconsistent lighting, processing, other issues. It is not meant for archival or production--light home use. There is a much larger scanner kit for $1800 at diyscanner.org that uses 2 cameras which are upgradable. Getting a good scan of text requires A LOT of resolution surprisingly and very precise lighting.
