Aloha Professor, I have another question for you. I am looking to make some videos/screen recordings for my students to introduce them to EES (and how to access it on our network). I know how to do the screen recording with audio, but haven't figured out how to do the markup on top of the EES window as you are doing. I run two different systems: an academy issued (and controlled, I have no admin rights...or very few) PC laptop with touch screen and stylus and running windows 10 and EES Commercial Academic on Citrix VDI; and, my personal MacBook Pro 16" M1 with MacOS Monterey running Widows 11 on Parallels, and using EES Professional (my own personal license). I can also use Parallels Access on my iPad to connect to my Mac and run Windows and EES, or I can use Sidecar to control the Mac from my iPad. Are you using a built-in app to produce your videos? or something else? (If you don't mind sharing)
Windows and zoom (annotations) will give you this capability. I don’t know about the other ones. However, You need to record the entire video once. If you make mistakes, you will have recorded it again.
MatLab is a more powerful programming language. The powerful thing about EES is the fact that you have access to Equation of state functions for various substances. So you can use them to optimize a cycle for example instead of spending time on try and error using thermodynamic tables.
