This video shows how you can solve HVAC problems using either Psychrometric chart or EES (Engineering Equation Solver). To review how to use EES and get familiar with the first law of thermodynamics watch these two videos first:
Introduction to EES: • How to use EES. Basic ...
Complete mastery of the 1st of law of thermodynamics: • Introduction to Heat T...
This video shows how you can find enthalpy, specific volume, dewpoint, wetbulb temperature, drybulb temeperature, humidity ratio, and relative humidity on the Psychrometric chart and in EES.
After finding these values, this video shows how to solve Example 14-6 from Cengel's Thermodynamics book (8th Edition)

Thanks for the video, I have one question regarding the air. i.e. if the air contain some other solution (like NMP for cathode drying) then how to define and calculate enthalpy and also condensation rate at evaporator ?

This was not covered when I was his student in 2017. Is this new to the curriculum?

i guess this is covered only when youre in mechanical engineering.

@@EarthenDemon126 in my country this is taught in HVAC course, a course separate from thermodynamics.

hi..i have a question in different subject if you can help in evaporative cooling...is it useful to decrease the temp of water spry or water washer ex: if out air 36c,60%rh..on psy with 90% evaporative efficiency.h ll get a 28c db and 90%rh.. so if i enter a 7c cold water to the washer .will i get a cold air temp....with knowing that in 100%humidity the db is about 27c thanks

Yes. If you do the first law analysis and include the enthalpies for a steady state case you can even bring the steady state air temperature down by introducing colder water to it.
