I just fired up my old EPSON 1640SU scanner to attempt to scan a box of old slides I have. I was able to download the latest driver for my MacBook Pro (hear that Canon? Why did you brick my old printer?). Anyway, I can’t find a working link for EPSON Scan. Help?
For some reason my Epson scan software when in professional mode doesn’t offer the color restoration, backlight correction, de screening, digital ICE options using MacOSx Sierra 10.12.6. Updating from Epson website doesn’t help.
I know this comment has been written a while ago. Have you been able to figure out how to fix it? I’m having the same issue and I cannot find a solution anywhere online
The buttons are still there, albeit initially invisible. I happen to remember where they are from the years I used this software under older versions of Windows. If I click where I remember the button to be, the button appears on the screen (but is also treated as pushed, so I have to be careful not to click a wrong invisible button). It then stays visible until I close the software. Next time I load it, I have to go button hunting again.
