I use that double jump to jump kick zombies or just to do parkour combat . Some obstacles while doing the double jump may come in handy if your trying to quickly get height .
To use double jump u dont need to press L2 at all u just press R1 twice. So when u do the far jump u press L2 after jumping up onto an obstacle when it vibrates, so instead of pressing L2 after u hop up press R1 again and it will double jump up higher. Took me about 10 min messing with it to figure it out
Thank you, this made it clear to me. Vault over low object with Right shoulder button, then do EITHER L shoulder button to Long Jump (max distance) or press R shoulder button for Double Jump (max height). It really should have been called High Jump, not Double Jump.

Not your average Double Jump.. ONLY PROMPTED WHEN JUMPING OBSTACLES.. trees trunks, etc..Think of it simply instead of scaling an obstacle you can get a good jump off of it... works good when jumping vehicles as well.. just double tap the Button
So, it's NOT a "double jump". It's just pushing off your initial jump with a slightly higher vertical? Why would I need an unlockable skill with another button prompt just to jump higher off of 1 jump? That sounds awful, and I haven't used it once since buying the upgrade (mainly because the skill description is so wrong)

@@jamestercool4412 i’m playing on the PS5 and double tapping R1 just doesn’t do anything. i’ve tried to do it off obstacles or aiming towards ledges but it doesn’t seem to work
New video idea: perks that ruin gameplay, or simply are not worth the effort. One example would be the wallrun perk being the single worst perk to buy in the entire game, and it actually kills you FAR MORE than it helps you (on controller), because the button prompt is literally the exact same as just jumping to the side to grab a ledge. This inevitably means you WILL wallrun straight off a ledge to your death. It activates 50% of the time when you need it to NOT activate, and it's so annoying that I want to start a new playthrough and simply never buy the skill because it ruins the game. Same thing with the stealth movement speed. I want my sprint input to make my character get the fuck up and start fucking sprinting. Not roll 1 foot forward and then sit there crouched. That's the most useless skill in the game, and it completely disrupts the flow of your movement, which is not what your want in a game about maintaining momentum, or quickly escaping a threat.
when doing far jump the one that launches you in a forward angle for PS4 you'll need to vault over a small object with R1 then press L1 right after that tiny animation plays
Wow, this is much harder than it looks. I have been trying for hours now to land a single far and double jump and still nothing. Tried on differnte obstacles... I will keep practicing.
@@jamestercool4412 literally one minute after my comment i started acing it. It it impossible to unforget now. I wouldn't mind a tutorial on the roll landing. Still havent figured that one out. Im sure its about the timing.
If you manage to do a far jump you can do a double jump. So basically a double jump is jumping on some smaller obstacle like a garbage can or some other waste level object, like the trunk of a car. as soon as you press jump, you press jump again. My mistake was excuting the jump when i was already standing on the object. The jump should be excecuted from the floor.
@@jamestercool4412 oh that in one of the wind mill place that you can capture for the factors. You need to use it. I kinda got stuff but now I know what to doo
