J'ai de la chance d'avoir appris d'abord le français, par hasard. De plus, je n'ai aucun envie d'apprendre par moyen de l'anglais, parce que mon anglais n'a aucun besoin de s'entraîner. Je t'encourage à approfondir ton français un jour. C'est une très belle langue !

Bravo, presque aucune fautes sauf "par moyen de l'anglais" " *je n'ai aucune envie d'apprendre depuis l'anglais* "

This is very true, I study Basque via Spanish and I found I could use the Spanish medium materials quite early on in my studies, probably somewhere around higher A2. How much prep do you think a speaker of Spanish and English would need to use Assimil?

You study Basque with Assimil? Which book? How's it going?

Deka what do you think of Karl Sandberg-' Reading French' as a source? Did you have RU-vid on why men should learn the classics? Bought your book online and found it very inspirational and helpful....great work

Thank you so much for your support! I think books of the "for Reading Knowledge"-genre are really good for getting people through graduate language exams. They can give you a good foundation in grammar, and they can help you review if you already have a foundation in the language. But be careful not to get into the habit of translating into English in your head.

I see your point on academic approach....maybe this source is not so valuable. Is the assimil French a more preferable method?
