You should've been given gauze by your dentist if you had a tooth removed. Knowing how to use gauze after a tooth extraction is imperative to get the bleeding to stop. Do you know the right way to use it? If not, we'll explain what you should do.

Hey bro, I'm about 6 hours after my 4 teeth extraction. Any tips, or advice you'd give me? Having trouble with the bleeding a bit. Seems I've filled a 16 Oz bottle with a blood/saliva mix. Pain is minimal. Nothing more than a pinch in the jaw. Just trippin bout the bleeding.

@@mattrobertson1001 the only issue i had is just remembering what food to eat and to NOT drink out of a straw once i got over my mouth no longer being numb i was good, dry socket shouldnt be a problem as long as u follow instructions

Only step missing is to make the gauze moist using water. If not, the clot will stick to the dry gauze, and when you remove the gauze will pull the clot out...then you have to start over. Thanks for the vid.

I hope I’m putting in the right spot 😅 I got my wisdom teeth out and only used like 1 gauze square on each side but folded like 3 times and my teeth aren’t touching like you said. So either it’s in the wrong spot or something idk.

@@Tyr_Gas At least 2-3 pieces of gauze on each side. If you had all 4 taken out, use a minimum of 3 pieces per side.

I used paper towels, but lightly dampened it to prevent sticking.

@@LordLucariosLair Yes, that works! Just remember to fold it thick enough so that your teeth don't touch when you bite down. That ensures you're applying enough pressure to the socket.
