I've been working on adding the special characters for a long time and your video is very clear I still can't make it work. I've spent HOURS today watching every video on the subject and am left frustrated. I'm using Windows 10 with all updates and Design space that is current. Good Lord-what is missing? Thank you.

Make sure you have the correct font selected in design space. You also can only use CTRL + V to paste the characters now

Having that hardest time getting the letter to copy over on cricut. I have pushed Ctrl V and I get a box. I tried closing out both programs and I still get the same thing.

They changed their text editing and to be honest I haven’t played with it yet so that may be the issue. I’ll have to look

hello, i downloaded maintype and then i found the one in wanted to use and copied it to the clipboard.... when i go back into designspace i hit ctrl p and nothing happens. is there a reason why this is happening? thanks so much

As far as mac is concerned there is an app that works called Fontbook that I have heard is good. I don't own anything mac.

When I type a text and locate the glyphs I want, the text box disappears so that I cannot paste. How do I get the text box back

Make sure you type something into the text box. You can type anything you want and just delete what you don’t want after you paste in the glyphs

Make sure you are using ctrl V to paste. I haven’t seen the issue on my end but perhaps others have

The most recent download of Main Type doesn't seem to have any of the fonts that you referred to in your video. E.g., does not have Samantha, Amelia, Love You. Is there a different download or another software which has glyphs to use with the Cricut Access fonts?

You have to download and install those fonts. They don’t just come on your computer. Cricut access fonts do not contain glyphs unless they are a specific wingding font. Because those fonts are built into design space these outside programs do not pick them up.

I am trying to use this...it keeps putting the letter the same as the font that is in the design space “font box” instead of the font from Maintype that I am trying to replace it with....help me please.... I have watch, rewatched and redone this over and over again while playing your video on one device and using the design space while on my laptop... I am running Windows...current edition, my design space ap is up to date...

Be sure you have the cont you want to use selected in design space. Be sure you are using CTRL + V to paste.

When I try to download high logic, my computer recognizes it as a severe trojan virus. I cannot get around it. Anyone else have this problem?

Corinne Blackstone I actually turned the security off on my computer and was able to download. Then turn security back on. Just trusting that there is not a virus.
