My account its already hacked and im trying to get back anyhow ive link it to my gmail they asked to re-set my password and they are asking me to add the authentication code so how am i suppose it add it? If i can't log in - in my account.

This is helpful, thanks. Do you know why Facebook might throw an error at the last step after entering the generated 6 digit code? It says I still need to authenticate but I’ve follow all the steps exactly.

Probably cause the timer ran out. You need to get a new code from the Authenticator app.

@@clickntapi have an acct link to Google authenticator app, but years back i deleted the authenticator app and removed the fb acct from my phone. Now am trying to login this Facebook acct but it keeps requesting for authentication code, and i still don't have the Facebook link to the authentication app, although I recently installed the app i don't know how to Link the fb to the authenticator app, and at the same time can't login the Facebook. Please help me.

It's dangerous oo, by the time you lost that phone eith the authenticator app, you will ask why you set it up because you wont get any code to login in another device Secondly if you delete that app by mistake hmmm You will ask your self why you turned it on, you wont be able to Login to that forever
