it does change but only show up in Taskmanager in the memory or in "msinfo32" where you can see ram and virtual ram, if you want to go to "msinfo32" just open up "Run" by right clicking windows start button shit and then click The "Run" and the write "msinfo32"

HELP! 1, search for control panel on bottom search bar 2, open control panel and set "view by:" to large icons 3, now you can find "system" in the list 4, after opening system goto "advanced system settings" at top right corner 5, a popup box will open 6, goto advanced > click on settings at "performance" box 7, another pop will open 8, click on "advanced" 9, Done you can follow the video from here.

Yeah, but it’s just extra ram, so it doesn’t really have to be fast. if you have 8gb and add 32gb, then you can use the extra 32 for extra things that can be slower

Yeap working,bt here how the results, my pc 4gb ram,i5 n had lot of free space in arnd 50 GBs,bt i tried only 8000 value as benefit of doubt, n it's good,bcoz earlier if i run 2/3 powerpoint n vlc media player with 1/2 folds open at a time,lap is too slow n I used ready boost via pendrive n it ws fine, now with this method without readyboost it is being fine. bt i dont recomend this for virtual box n creating as many VMs at a time running an all.coz i tried n it ddnt workout,even just with 2/3ppt open n 1vm opened,it paused the Vm still. so just can be happy with get ridding of frustration on pc/lap slowness,bt GAMES / VMs I don't think this helps. btw GAMEs i didnt try,VMs i tried,it ddnt wrkout.pls if anybody find n tried such vids,explain properly ur result rather than playing around,so that can save other peoples lot of time. sorry if this hurts,bt jst a general guidance to mankind. thanx BTW

It's going to run much faster compared to your actual situation but I guess there would be no eye-seen difference with a 32gb ram pc. It would also be a waste if your cpu is a mid or low-end one.

There is a solution to expanding your ram on android but it requires you to root your device. Tried it on my galaxy pocket and i was able to run GTA san andreas smoothly .

It's a half useless because windows don't use truly virutal memory as ram memory... That's just write some info newbie temporaly in it like some software/game can do too... Other example just to understand, when you want play a game who need 8gb & you just have 4gb, you can set "one million" gb virtual memory that the game will said "you don't have enought memory"...

Four Monkey If it's another disk then it's simple, just put the hard drive in the PC and plug it all in... If it's a removable drive, just plug it in a USB port. Otherwise it's a partition of a hard drive. Google it

it dosent damage your drive but if you use a hdd for this then the read head will have to do ALOT more moving around meaning that if you try to open a file with the same hdd then it will feel slower because the read head is always busy doing ram stuff which considering the read/write speeds of a hdd will make it much MUCH slower.

No HDD. SSD is worth using as RAM, but HDD is not even supposed to be used as RAM. Not only because you CAN do this means it's good and efficient! It's too slow and has to start running each time you use that virtual RAM. (HDD also shuts down when not used but when it's used as RAM you have to wait it to turn on and it turns on just to be RAM for few moments. Worst idea ever, I don't recommend. (use SSD as RAM is better and more logic)

The computer will only show u the installed ram that u have inside ur laptop/pc, but ur actual ram is more because u increased it by converting some of ur storage space into ram. In the properties it will not include that change. The properties only tells u about ur solid comp. It doesn't tell u what u have done with it, except how much total storage is there, how much of it is used (which includes the virtually created ram, but it doesn't mention anything about it), how much free storage is left, ur processer, drivers, operating system, etc. and *INSTALLED* RAM. Installed means the solid ram card existing inside ur machine only. Not the extra virtual ram.

So even if u have added 2 more GB of ram from the storage, it will not show 4 GB ram (like, u know - 2+2). It will still say 2 GB only. But ur comp will be relatively faster than before.
