I am a Whitetail Institute fan, I only use WI seed for my food plots. It is a little more money then most, but worth it. I’m not so sure about impact. In fairness, I haven’t used it but I have used plot Dr. and deergro liquid lime and they both work awesome! I also spread pellet lime each spring. I assume this lime is similar but the price difference is crazy. I can do an acre with plotstart or Plot Dr for $45.00 as opposed to $120.00 with Impact. It adds up when you have 3-4 acres of plots. This hurts me because I will only use WI product including their herbicides but the cost for this doesn’t make sense to me and I don’t scrimp on my plots. I spend about $3000.00 each year between seed, fertilizer, lime and herbicides. I would definitely use impact as I am loyal to WI but they need to consider comparable pricing to the competition.
@@MakingHope I do soil tests every March. I need to lime every year until I reach a 6.5 ph. I average 3/10 of a point each year I lime based on the recommendations from WI. Once I reach desired ph, I agree, it will be maintenance only.
