I used just the arrest max with the whitetail institute extreme seed. I didn't use the arrest max until the weeds were tall. Sprayed the weeds and came back and mowed it. That fall I had the greenest food plot and I never used any fertilizer. This year I planted Whitetail institute clover and I'm using Slay and SFCO and Arrest max this year in Northern Minnesota.

You guys should make survivalist food plot mixes for humans. You already do actually. I have a question. Why not make Amaranth and Lamb's quarter a part of food plots? At least in out of the way places where it won't piss off farmers.
I planted this all over my garden in October. We ate a ton of Daikon and greens while having a cover crop that added nitrogen to the soil. All with a tiny amount of work. The only issue I had with it was keeping the deer out of it, LOL.
I'm in very sandy central florida and just looking for a no-mow ground cover. What happen if I plant this and nothing eats it? My soil is like white sugar sand stuff I don't want will grow in it.
Absolutely love this stuff and the deer do too, this is the only mineral we use now the deer hammer it may-september and you can tell the health of the whole herd has increased and we are getting buck's on camera way bigger than ever before this stuff is no joke!!!!

Y’all should do an in depth video on the 30-06 mineral mix! I’ve been using that stuff on public land for several years deep in the big woods with amazing results! I might even do a video on my channel!😁 Lord knows I have the experience!
Back when I was young, I remember old-timers telling my they would seed after a light snow so where you walked and where the seeds landed were easy to see. As for how heavy to broadcast, they said a silver dollar should cover at least 2 seeds, and no more than 3. Has worked very well for me.
Do not mow when the Almanac says prune to discourage or kill weeds. Cutting weeds on Leo will best to kill them. The same goes for plants you want. Cut your food plot on prune to encourage days and you will be pleased. Add fertilizer according to the Almanac to get your moneys worth.

Question. If I plant clover at the beginning of April how long should I wait till I put down the Arrest? Also once I spray area how long should I wait before I mow area?
I live in southern Il about 30 miles from St Louis . We leave for the winter Jan first and don't get back till Feb 15th . Is it OK to frost seed last week of December. .
Didn't show how to do it like the title says. I know he didn't just spread those tiny seeds in that tiny bag on that huge plot. Has to be mixed with sand or something to not waste all of it within 25 yards.
Planted this in two separate plots on my land. Sprouted in only 5 days and is growing exceptionally well. Only problem is the deer are attacking it already. They are hammering the sprouts. Hopefully they don't mow it all down.
Will slay kill chicory? What about seedlings that are a month or so old. I have had to over seed clover in plots so some of my clover is a year old and some are a month old
I don't know why people stress about weeds; deer eat them too. Forbes are a large part of their diet. I only spray for grass, and mow to keep the 'weeds" down somewhat. I don't want to kill my chicory in the clover.
