I'm an older lady and not technology minded, so every time Outlook "up-date" they make such a mess of my correspondence and I have to get someone - usually next doors grandson - to sort it. Why do they keep doing this? I really don't understand and find it very upsetting.
The developers (people who get their kicks from coding/ programming) think their new tweaks are just that amazing that everyone needs to learn an entirely new way of doing what they have been doing for many months, years or even decades. The developers are on the forefront of the experience of individuals who are exposed to tech and new software all the time. They don't even notice that for us normal people, it's extremely disruptive to make changes to known functionalities. To them, it's just par for the course, so they don't even notice it's a problem. Then you get these idiots actually thinking the styles and features they've come to enjoy or how they want to execute them is the same for everyone. I'd imagine most of these coders have Issues with theory of mind and can't really place themselves into the experience of normal people who don't do this for a living. Bunch of idiots in control.

Jamie, Looking to replace Mozilla Thunderbird because it has started moving extremely slowly. Considering going back to MS Outlook. Don't like the cost because I only need an email client. I really enjoy your teaching methods. Very easy for a 78 year old to comprehend. Is it time for part 2 yet? JimE

My interface looks nothing like this. If it were this clean I might be ok. At first I thought you might have a really old version, but nope. Perhaps, it's because I have a Macbook? Just started a job that used Outlook and emails are a hot mess. I need even more remedial I guess, I need to know how I get the layout like yours.
Can I have an pop and a imap accounts? When I added my .pst file it loaded all my folders to my provider and made my account over quota. Never had that happen with 2016. Thought folder would stay on computer and not share with internet provider.
Hi! Can you please help me. My client added me as a delegate in Outlook. He wants me to have access to his inbox, sent items and drafts folder. I already have access to his inbox but I couldn't find the other two folders. How can we add it?

Did I miss something? I still cannot understand why there is an Outlook tab in the task bar on the bottom of my Desktop and an Outlook email comes up when I turn on my computer. This is confusing because they both have different emails in them.

My screen looks nothing like yours. I do not have a file option at the top of the screen in the bar. I have only Home , View and Help. So I am unable to do most of what your suggesting. I just downloaded it today.

I'm so confused why my outlook looks totally different from this.. Mine is like a dashboard of mail box, no tabs or ribbon at all. Can anyone give me some clue?
I have 2023 MicroSoft 365 for Mac on my computer, version 16.72.1. But my Outlook screen looks very different than that which is shown in the video. My tabs are different, and it doesn’t show the ribbon or group names below the ribbon. Is there some way to change this to be consistent with the video? My other MS programs such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint show the tabs and ribbon similar to your videos on these programs, but they also do not show the group names below the ribbon. Is there some way to add the group names below the ribbon for these programs?
Please do a video on Contacts with Outlook 365 and using Categories to separate groups of people etc. I find I have multiple contact lists from Outlook desktop, mobile and Gmail sources that do not sync properly. What's the most effective way to amalgamate these contacts to be useful on all devices and when using both Outlook and Gmail. Key issue is devices all seem to deal with contact lists differently .... mobile vs desktop, tablet vs phone, Android vs Windows. Is there an advantage in using CSV in Excel for this to create a master list 1st. When contact lists reach the 1000's how do you subset it for mobile devices to priority contacts to make it smaller and easier to use on the go but keeps in sync?
Hi, I have enjoyed your videos however, I have not seen where you cover troubleshooting especially when it pertains to sending an email from a website, etc. The email starts to load but never actually loads. So I always have to copy the party's email and send manually. Would sure be nice to be able to click on and have email load up as it was designed. I'm on a Windows 10 computer if that matters. Hello, I’m using Outlook 2016 desktop version and I’m looking for the ability to send out a calendar schedule to various people and to allow users to select any dates or any per selected dates which would be convenient for them to have the meeting on. I would get a reply from the recipient’s showing me the total people for the various dates that they have selected.. Thanks
For some reason I can't pull up the ribbon. Feel like a dum dum. There is no little arrow in the right hand of the page that allows me to see the full editing ribbon. Is there a new or different version I'mworking with? thanks.
I have outlook. I no longer see my emails on my desktop but I do see them on other devices. I was cleaning my keyboard and must have hit a wrong key. Someone please help
How do I schedule a message to be sent? Gmail gives me the option to write an email on a Saturday but have it schedule to go out on another day like Monday 8am. I haven't been able to find this feature in Outlook.
Question-example -set up folder called time-all emails that have the word time in subject line go into this folder--emails that are received are sorted by date-is there a way to keep them sorted by date but inside each date have emails further sorted by sender
Excellent, the only thing I would have liked to see is how to easily create a group to send an email to, I can mess around to figure it out on my own, looks intuitive enough, but I would have liked to see it. Anyway, I"m off to watch your next video and I subscribed!

My oldest emails from my ASD teachers and my district county from my old elementary school were nice and they always remind me of my online homeschool classes through Teams meetings.❤❤
