Many sellers and tools can activate Visio. I tried various sources, including eBay, but they also stopped working after a few months. I had to reinstall my OS due to malware so I stopped using free options. After thorough research I found a great company with fair prices and haven't had any issues since.

Was waiting for this one Kevin! But can you tell me how can I edit pics or graphs using Visio 2019 pro? Do you I need save the pictures in a particular format for visio to allow editing them. I could edit my matlab graphs saved in png format in visio 2017 but now I am unable to edit the graphs saved in tif or jpeg using visio 2019 pro. Is there a format limitation for editing in visio??

Hi Kevin, thank you for the tutorial. See how your diagram went across 2 pages, how do you get that 2nd page to be a proper 2nd page with the swim lane headings, etc ... like you can in Word where you select repeat headings. Thank you
I have a question, so what is Visio are for? Since you can do all of that in Microsft Word with shape and text. And also the page size of Visio seem limited. What happen after you setup all of that? Print out to new emplyee or it's there for you to see the progress?
Thanks, after showing attribute types > removing the text of the attribute type (temporary design purposes) > then wanting to enter the decided attribute type you cannot select the attribute type. It's as if it's container is auto-deleted when there is no text. Anyone know how to enter attribute text after you have removed said text?
Dears I need help with this I have excel file contains 9 taps. I need to hyperlink certain excel TAP to a certain visio sheet. I need to repeat this process with a different visio TAP with a different excel TAP in the same sheet. When I do hyperlink its open as the last time saved. Please any help?
Does the arrows-on-hover only appear when a particular non-blank template is chosen? I used a blank template and when I hover on the shapes there are no arrows.
Could you do a video on the different license levels of visio (M365 included, Plan 1, Plan 2) and best practices in its use in a multiple license level environment. For instance, I have plan 2 and actually find it difficult to create a diagram that someone with the M365 license can edit. I would love a way to put my Visio desktop into a compatibility mode or 'save as' so that it was M365 license compatible for editing (even if losing some features for that particular diagram). Are their settings or best practices we should be following in a multi-license level environment?
I've never used ER Win in my past experiences but I'm strongly familiar with Oracle DataModeler and MySQL workbench Data modeler. Based on my current experience with Visio, I found its very helpful for Database Developer Community. If I had to build and design ERD from scratch then It would have taken me more than a month. For minor changed its good tool.

This is nothing against you. But this...trash tier levels of software. If I wanted to draw I'd pick up a pen and paper. Is there hot key functionality because this is what I am finding over and over and over. I need to organize my thoughts. And every single app I find is more for reaffirmation than productive organizing. Tab = Horizontal Navigation Shift + Tab = Vertical navigation Return = Adds a new node 1-9 + Return = Adds a specified node shape Return + Shift = Adds +1 Node to create splits. When you have enough splits it automatically cycles back to the top for input. RMB = Right click on established nodes to drag flows to other nodes to create loops. Like why is this software created like a word processor. It's garbage and a waste of time. Playing in menus and clicking and clicking and clicking with more and more menus? Diagramming software needs to function more like art studio software. Not like the clearly recycled code from a Microsoft Word.
My boss shared with me his Visio file so that I can edit the file. Each time I try to "Edit Diagram" I have chosen all the options; Edit in Browser and Edit Desktop App and it will not let me edit the document.. can you assist?

As a lifetime Visio user, I have finally decided to give up on Visio and have chosen Edrawmax as my primary diagramming software. Unfortunately, Microsoft could not fix many bugs that it has had for over a decade.
