Been using it for almost 2 years now and really like it. I use the Premium plan as well. With our little band we use it when playing out for backing tracks or to replace a missing musician if needed. Using it on an apple tablet. Great little program. Thanks for sharing Greg.
I’m using Moises since a year. Real great tool. I record my band then I remove the bass track (mine) I put the drums in the forefront , keep the vocal and lower the guitar and keyboard in the mix. just to hear enough for harmony. I also remix a version with only the drums.
Thanks for this, Greg! I've been a Moises user for a couple of years now and I never knew that there was a "count-in" option. That's a HUGE PLUS for me most of the time!
Glad it was helpful Dan. They are releasing new features all the time. I didn't know a few of them until my membership let me know in a group session! 😀
Excellent Instructional video. Just got the upgrade version via the App on my iPhone. WOW this is just absolutely awesome, so easy to use and extract my favorite bass lines, lots of raw U2 & Thin Lizzy bass lines to look forward to hearing on their own. This is a real game changer. I knew of Moises existence but I never realized I could do it so easily off my iPhone. Thank you Greg 🙏🙏🙏
No lol. You still have to do the (ear) work but, the functionality of the software is intuitive even for a tech challenged old school type like myself. I wish Moises and Soundslice had been around when I was a kid. Peace bro. Love your channel
Extract the bass, raise it up an octave, get out a guitar and transcribe it. Slow down as needed. As you play along you will hear any bad notes to double check your work.
It is absolutely fool proof. For example SRV "Couldn't Stand The Weather", it sounds like C to D on the main riff, however use my trick and you can hear it is C# to D, then C to D. It only flags you if you are using a guitar to transcribe to a line isolated and raised by an octave. You should try it!@@GregsBassShed
Great program, I use it on an ipad. One thing is that if you take the bass right out you loose some clarity from the vocals. I didn't know you could get this on the desktop-have you got a link for this?
Hi Rog, yeah definitely lose of some frequencies in the different tracks. It's not perfect yet but a great program. Here's the link to find the desktop version: moises.ai
I have been on the Premium plan for a couple years. They keep improving and we use Moises tracks every band practice. I typically turn vocals to half, drums all the way up, bass half and guitar a quarter for song practice. Great to lock in and practice. The iPhone version has preset loops we can rename. We were practicing Simple Man in E Standard so we were able change the tuning from the original detuned version. Moises is incredibly good value and our favourite practice and song learning tool.
