Any tips on how to keep it in place? When I put them in my bra, they are 90 degrees upright. By the end of the pumping session, they are turned inward (not a full 45 degrees), and the motors are touching. I never have milk leak, I've got a good seal. It's just annoying that they don't stay upright while I'm moving around. Any tips?
There is a little pouring spout at the top of the flange. I like to remove the pump motor first, and then you can pour the milk out from the pouring spout. Leave the flange attached to the cup to make it easier to pour. Hope this helps.
Thanks so much for the offer! I am setting the pump up correctly making sure the duckbills are positioned right and it’s doing the suctioning but it’s not getting any milk from me. It’s very frustrating! But I have plenty of milk to actually breastfeed, use the Hakka and my regular wall pump.
@faithporcella I can imagine how frustrating this is for you. Have you checked your flange size is correct for your nipple measurements? If the flange size is too big all too small it can have a big impact on the volumes of milk being pumped. My second suggestion is to play around with your suction levels. The highest won't necessarily produce the most milk. Start low (on a level 2) then work your way till you find a level that is comfortable and produces the most milk. You can also try similar with the modes (just because the stimulation mode is for let down doesn't mean you can't try it for your whole pumping session - your body might prefer the shorter suction cycles). Hopefully this helps 😊
@@pumpingmilk thanks for this video. Would it be possible to make a video on how to sterilize and clean the pump? There is barely information on Momcozy website and youtube and this is an important step, a lot of moms are asking for this information on forum and I cannot find a clear answer anywhere. Thanks a lot for you great content :)
Just published the How to clean and sterilize Momcozy Pump video for you :) Hope this helps!! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-_mPFv4kMYfI.html
Unfortunately, the best way to know is to try it, but it should help to draw your nipple out. I have heard people having positive results with a Spectra pump too, but obviously this is not wearable.
I'm sorry to hear the Tommee Tippee didn't work for you. It may be worth speaking to your local lactation consultant as they can assess your situation and offer specific advice 😊
If needed, you can buy additional flange insert sizes via Momcozy on Amazon: amzn.to/3SVNsvI (affiliate). They have size 15mm, 17mm, 19mm, 21mm, 24mm, 27mm available. These will insert into the 24mm flange, so you only need the insert in the correct size and that will fit into the flange.
I had no idea it had flange sizes until i bought it. It hurts a little when i try to pump. Is there anything i can do about that, please? ( i really want to enjoy pumping)
So sorry you're having issues. I'd recommend measuring your nipple size and then if needed, you can buy additional flange insert sizes via Momcozy on Amazon: amzn.to/3SVNsvI (affiliate). They have size 15mm, 17mm, 19mm, 21mm, 24mm, 27mm available. These will insert into the 24mm flange, so you only need the insert in the correct size and that will fit into the flange.
Thanks for the question, it's recommended to boil only on their website, but you may want to double check with their customer service. I know you can use the Momcozy microwave steam sterilization bags with the S12 Pro.
If it's leaking from the pump, and you've checked that it's put together correctly with firm seals, then it could be that the flange or valves need replacing.
You can buy them via Amazon: amzn.to/3SVNsvI (affiliate). They have size 15mm, 17mm, 19mm, 21mm, 24mm, 27mm available. These will insert into the 24mm flange, so you only need the insert in the correct size and that will insert into the flange.
@@izzyanzulkhafli711 Yes correct. When you turn it on, it will be set at your last pumping session settings (mode and suction strength). If you switch modes from expression to stimulation or vise versa , it will be also be on the last suction strength setting you had for that mode. It basically means when you start on a mode, you don't need to click through all the suction levels to find your favorite.
It’s possible. I think the tricky part after removing the pump from the boob is removing the motor carefully before pouring the milk out. I got a replacement now so I’m trying to avoid the same happening to my new motors!
@@TheRebelChronicles so glad you could get a replacement. And yes it's a little tricky to get use to, but hopefully it starts feeling a bit easier for you!
