You can cross stitch perfectly well without a needle minder...but I wouldn't be without one!
I want to show you how useful they are and answer a few questions cross stitchers often have about them, like 'where do I put it?'
Find out why this cross stitch accessory is a must-have!

"Give *one* a try", she says... I've managed for 30yrs without a needle minder - never heard of them - but I think you've just introduced me to my new obsession. If I can't get my hands on a hedgehog or duck anytime soon, there's going to be trouble! 😂🦔🦆

They definitely weren't around when I started stitching and I discovered them when I returned to stitching about 5 years ago...and fell in love 😂 Have fun with your new obsession 😜

Love my needle nannies, and thank you for warning about the possibility of staining your project. Found this out the hard way by leaving a needle nanny on my work for too long or it not being a good quality one. Great video

Oh no, I'm sorry to hear you had a needle minder stain your project 😞 They definitely vary in quality. Glad you enjoyed the video 😄

Another wonderful video! Thank you! I have a few needleminders. Some of them can be quite expensive if you add shipping. I love the ones from the UK, so I can't let one needleminder travel across the pond alone. While I am paying shipping, I might as well order a few! ; )

So glad you enjoyed the video 😄 I've so far only bought needleminders from the UK to avoid shipping costs but it's only a matter of time before I get tempted by some from elsewhere 😂 In which case I like your strategy of making sure to buy a few at the same time!

Love my needle minders. Have about 10 at the moment. As you say they are great little gifts for stitch friends. The really strong magnets even hold small scissors. Thank you again. Fun watch as always.❤

Oh yes, I've heard some stitchers put their scissors on them too; I've only done that by accident 😂 Sounds like you have a nice collection there 😃

My grandmother put her needle in the arm rest of her chair and during a football game my dad slammed his hand down on said arm rest and put the needle in his hand. Needed an ER visit to remove it!! Ekkkk! 😩

Oh no 😱 That sounds horrendous! Definitely a good argument for using needle minders 😂

Love needle minders❤ I've had to go through a couple of ones with weak magnets 🧲 but am now using ones from a British company which are really strong. I never used one when I was cross stitching 30 years ago but have recently returned to cross stitching and minders make it so much easier.

They definitely vary in how good the magnet is, and it's so nice when you find a good place to buy them from. They definitely weren't a thing when I started stitching as a kid; that would be around 30 years ago too!
