I love your tutorials. You speak in a plain easy to understand format and you give me time to comprehend what you are saying and understand the examples you give. I am so glad you have started this segment of OneNote Desktop. I am in my 70's and you start with the basics in a way that is interesting and informative. I also love the way you have the lesson segmented so it is easier to return to certain parts for a refresher. I have been watching you for a few years and look forward to programs that I can relate to. Keep up the good work.

Thank you! I am a speech and Language Pathologist. I like that you kept it simple in your explanations- I needed that so much! I can see you have done this [videos] a lot because the speech in your brain [thoughts of words] were moving faster than you could physically express. That is why I heard your articulators [tongue, lips, teeth, palate..etc] "flub" on your expressive speech. That shows me you have a healthy brain- so those flubs were actually good [ in my sense of interpretation] you have great speaking skills! = ]

This tutorial is so helpful! I've wanted to understand OneNote for quite some time. Now I believe using it is going to be a gamechanger in my organization efforts. I'm a life coach and business strategist, I create courses, and the sheer amount of information I accumulate is overwhelming! I've tried organizing in my Google Drive, but it is just a mess. I'm excited to start saving things into notebooks now! I've seen where some people have used OneNote to make planners and share them. I'd love to know more about that. Also, I'm wondering if sharable notebooks might be useful for my clients.

OH MY (expletive) GOD!!! No wonder none of the menus on my laptop matched ANY of the online documentation. I didn't know I now have TWO VERSIONS of OneNote on my computer. My computer defaulted to "OneNote for Windows 10" - BIG, HAIRY MISTAKE. Plain vanilla "OneNote" is the one to pin to your taskbar. THANK YOU, Teacher's Tech. I guess I'm the only one in my company that uses it, because everyone I talked to about it was like "Huh, what?". Michael in Kennestone, Georgia.

Very interesting. Would like to know how I can move the content to something like word. I am thinking that this would be great for putting the notes I have in a multitude of locations into one spot using the tabs within the app. At first glance it seems like a way to organize things. I think you could start the video by giving us an overview of what this application is used for. Interested in compatibility with other apps.

I understand that attaching a file can be trouble if you keep the original on your hard drive or in OneDrive. So If I delete the original and maintain only the file in OneNote what are the negatives? When should I keep all originals in OneDrive folders and only link to them? I am trying to decide on where should my files reside -- OneNote or OneDrive or my hard drive. Thanks

What version of OneNote for Desktop do you have? My toolbar looks similar, almost like a previous version of OneNote with the Quick access at the top, etc. Note that I am not talking about the OneNote for Win 10. Are you using a beta?

This is the kind of instruction and teaching that many people need and want, but I am not one of those. It goes too slow for me and a lot of it strikes me as "how to use a Microsoft App" instead of "How to make One Note work for you". I had to click off and go look at a different video.

Onenote is the worst note software ever, anyone with a common sense will stay far away from it, here is one example of how stupid and low it can go to: "This page contains conflicting changes. Click here to show versions of the page with unmerged changes" It never has done a proper job in synchronizing the notes and so it came up with this error message. But when you clicked into this error message, you get another one that says it would not be able to complete the synch because the other note has not been synched, what it is telling you is that it is not going to do the synch either way. "Sorry, it looks like this page was added from another computer and hasn't synced yet."

You give too much information for a beginner. I want to know the basics - here’s what you do first, second, etc. I don’t want to know know options when I don’t know the basics. Your presentation is akin to teaching me multiplication when I don’t understand addition. Very poor presentation for a beginner video. I won’t be watching any more of your videos.
