How to use Phone as a webcam via USB Method

hi, this is an updated tutorial on how to use your phone's camera as a webcam in Zoom using only Wifi. However, I finally figured out how to connect it via usb. This is a effective method for usb connection if you want more stable connection during video conferencing or streaming for Zoom, Obs, skype etc. If you want to also learn how to use your phone as a microphone, comment down below.

This saved my life. The USB insert on my go-Pro fell off and the camera basically became useless. You're my hero. Every other guide I saw made it too complicated. TYVM. Stay safe.

You area a lifesaver! I'm a teacher and will be teaching virtually very soon. I have a laptop, but prefer to use my desktop, but it doesn't have a webcam. I was this close to buying a $50 cheap webcam when I came across your video. This is so much better than any webcam and it's free. I used my husband old Samsung and I was good to go. I can' thank you enough!

hello, whenever i connect my phone to the ivcam app via usb cable it connects for like 2 seconds and it disconnects, it was good a few months before tho, it is the same in iriun webcam too

Try to rescale the output settings to 768x720. We use that in the church and never encountered slow down in streaming and recording.
