Cute cute pillow! And love the front of the pillow. Will have to check that video out! But, I have never been happy with that tool to do snaps. It seems they never last. Either the snaps quit working, i.e. won’t snap together or they fall off leaving holes in the fabric. Hidden Velcro pieces (I know, no “bling” there!) or buttons. It’s ok, button holes are super easy now with the machines out there today. The machine does it for you totally. Never have found the snaps to last. Love this video though! So cute!

I've always sewn up one side and then down the other to prevent warping. Do you find that that doesn't happen when you use a walking foot? Or was that such a small piece that it didn't matter?

My son just asked me to make a pillow for my new granddaughter. And, oh by the way, make it washable with a cover that is removable. I figured I would do a button back, but this looks really cute and maybe, easier. I bought a tool for snaps so I could put snaps on some bibs I made. They did t work. I even brought the tool back to the store, and the staff couldn’t get it to work. So, I would like to know which tool you used. Was it the extra heavy duty one? Have you had any problems with it? Any advice will be welcomed. Thanks for all the informative and FUN tutorials. Love to watch your enthusiasm and excitement.

Hi Linda! Mister Domestic used the Dritz Heavy Duty Snap pliers we carry at Fat Quarter Shop - www.fatquartershop.com/heavy-duty-snap-pliers - no problems with it while we made this video, just make sure you have a good grip on it. Hope this helps!

Comment: recommending you put the stuffing into a separate pillow case & sew it closed; or you be finding stuffing in the washer/ dryer, all over the house...if you have a pet dog, cat, or others, who like to chew/ toss around small, cute " stuffies" Woven design is cute!
