Very informative. Is it good for SEO if one article is under more than one category?

You shouldn't have articles being categorized more than once. You may want to double check your silo structure if this is happening often for you. - Tony

To add on to this... What you can do is have parent categories and subcategories. That would be totally fine.

I've heard conflicting statements regarding the SEO benefits of Categories vs Tags. This video seems to state pretty strongly that there is an advantage with SEO to using Categories (over Tags), but older videos state that there is no difference. I'm curious to know if anyone has any documentation or further evidence to support either position.

Good question. I think that I put a strong emphasis on this video on how categories can serve you well towards building a good silo structured site. Tags on the other hand have absolutely no impact on SEO. There are hundreds of articles online that you can read on this topic, 99% of them backing up this claim. In today's day and age... Perhaps you may want to just ask ChatGPT about it?😊 - Tony

Thanks, very informative! I just don't 100% agree that Tags aren't relevant to SEO at all... as in my websites the Tag archive pags someting bring new relevant traffic, Isn't that important?
