I simply love this video, step by step & very clear, you can't go wrong. I would love a video on the JA1450NT Brother Machine (or are the 2 very similar?)
To adjust the stitch width, you need to adjust the inside dial to obtain the desired zigzag width and the outside dial to obtain the desired stitch length.

Hi, You should never oil your Brother JA20 machine. The machine does however need to be serviced by a professional sewing machine technician every 3 to 6 months depending on how often you sew with the machine. Please remember that it is also recommended to change the needle of the machine to the correct needle for the fabric and technique you are using as well as after every 8 to 10 hours of continues sewing.
Hello! I noticed that the reverse button is sometimes on the left side of the machine near the needle and sometimes on the right side, which one is actually more comfortable to use?
It is not recommended to sew more than 2 layers of 350gsm denim with this sewing machine. Note that the thickness of the denim will also affect this statement.
No the machine does not need to be oiled. However, it is important to have the machine serviced by a qualified service technician every 3 to 6 months depending on the usage of the machine. Furthermore it is important to ensure that the machine is kept clean and that the needle be replaced after roughly 8 hours of continuous sewing.
