This multi-use product is suitable for all curl types, it’s especially great for those with dry hair.
How to use the Intense Treatment Serum in your hair routine - this is step 5 in the Curlsmith Method, meaning you don’t need to use it every wash day.
Ways to use hair serum:
1. Use the Intense Treatment Serum after styling or between washes on your lengths and ends to add shine and reduce frizz. Or use it as part of your styling products, by rubbing a pea-size amount in your palms before scrunching out any cast created by a gel. This technique is recommended for those with type 4 hair.
2. You can also use this hair serum as a nourishing treatment to provide moisture to your curls. The product is part of our moisture range, and can support your hair to lock in essential hydration. To use the Intense Treatment Serum like this, apply 2 tablespoons of product all over your hair, then cover with a shower cap and leave on overnight.
3. This serum can also be used as a pre-shampoo treatment to detox the scalp and detangle your tresses before washing. To use hair serum in this way, apply 1 or 2 tablespoons of product, melted within your hands, to your whole head of hair. Massage onto the scalp, then follow with your regular shampoo.
