When I want to feel nice about myself, I book an appointment and go to a British salon place: They always make you feel on top of the world by telling what a beautiful hair you’ve got, how they love the volume!! And whenever I’m on my high horse, acting a bit over confident, I go to an Indian beauty parlour: They will start by telling how coarse your hair is and how much split ends you’ve got... and while they are doing your hair, they randomly put in, “Do you want to also get your upper lip done?” And yes, I instantly fall back down to Earth ☺️☺️
I was actually born with straight hair but I ruined it when I was little😭 So it became wavy but it looked damaged so right now I am following this curly hair routine Does this make my hair curly or wavy?
I really like this shampoo and conditioner. I always do a double cleanse it lathers better on 2nd cleanse and for the conditioner it does not weigh my hair down and I love the smell of all Curlsmith products. For volume and moisture would I have to buy the full bodied volume shampoo&conditioner for big volume ? Or could I just use my essential moisture cleanser &conditioner and buy the volume line stylers for maximum volume?I have highlighted spiral permed, medium density hair.I love Curlsmith products because they have no harsh chemicals in them and there sulfate free.I can't wait to try the volume line. I bought alot of Curlsmith products.I like them all. Can't wait to see what they come out with next, maybe a defining brush would be nice.
I have similar hair issues like her, and I have to scrunch the heck out of it to get juicy, plump, voluminous curls, or else it will look like the models. Currently, the only products that work decently enough for me are CurlSmith’s leave in creams, and Dippity Do’s Girls With Curls gel, and then followed by one of CurlSmith’s or Qdidad’s stronger hold gels. 😂
it depends on the porosity of your hair! some people with extremely damaged curls use this product more often than others, just make sure you're maintaining the protein and moisture balance in your hair 😃
Love this like considering the majority of all else is for thicker kinkier hair types. Nice to have products that are a much better fit for fine or just looser waves and curls for once. Hands down my favorite scent of all your other products. Smells like fresh fruity watermelon. Not sickly sweet. Just adore them! 🥰
Does the mousse have enough hold on its own? Or do you have to apply a strong hold gel on top? I am excited to try this line of volumizing products I was wondering when Curlsmith was going to create it.Who doesn't want volume. Hopefully Curlsmith will create a line of products next targeting hair growth. Products to grow your hair.I love Curlsmith products.Do you have to use this whole line to achieve volume? Thank you for showing us how to apply them correctly.Looking forward to what line of products they come out with next.
it's suitable for all waves, curls and coils! For coarser hair types, we'd recommend you try our Invincible Volume Mousse and then layer with a stronger hold gel for volume and definition 😃
You need to put your products at Walmart, Walgreens so I can go in store and buy and don't have to pay for shipping. I have the scalp thickening lotion what is the difference in the new product? I am going to try this new line I need volume and defined curls can't wait to try the new mousse gel. Thank you Curlsmith for your clean moisturizing ingredients my curls love your products. Your my favorite brand so far.
We are available in-store at Ulta Beauty, select Sephora stores and Nordstrom Rack if that helps! The difference between the Full Body Thickening Lotion and the Full body Volumizing Lotion is that the thickening lotion creates space between your strands to give you a thicker, fuller look. The volumizing lotion penetrates your strands and plumps them from the inside out to give you more body. Can't wait for you to try them and hear your feedback!
It's totally up to you! Some people prefer to rinse it out and apply again as a leave-in for hydration, some people prefer not to wash it out and keep it as a leave-in. Just what your curls prefer 😃
Great question! The difference between the Full Body Thickening Lotion and the Full body Volumizing Lotion is that the thickening lotion creates space between your strands to give you a thicker, fuller look. The volumizing lotion penetrates your strands and plumps them from the inside out to give you more body and volume. Hope this helps!
Don’t get me wrong I love my diffuser but I would love a smaller diffuser attachment to buy that fits this hair dryer for when I pixie diffuse ➰➰🥰👩🏻🦱➿➿
My hair's texture has changed. When I was young, it was as stick straight and slick as could be. Getting it to hold a curl back then took WAY too much hairspray. Now, as I'm in my early 60's, I've recently discovered that my hair has waves to it. I've ALWAYS loved curly hair and never thought I'd ever have it. Perms just never looked like real curls. So now I'm thrilled to see that I might be a wavy girl and have ordered some of your products to try out. I'm sure your website says...but are your products safe for color treated hair? I currently dye mine a gorgeous deep red, 5A, and am loving the sass of being a redhead. Funny, I was born red, went pale blonde as a child, then it turned strawberry blonde in high school and college, then began the grays about 5 years ago...and now I'm dyeing it red. First time I've ever dyed my hair, and I love it. Thanks for your beautifully done videos, they take a lot of planning and you have all done an excellent job with your vids.
For years I could never figure out why I couldn't control my straight hair. It's only recently occurred to me it isn't straight hair behaving weirdly - it's wavy hair, and it's actually looking pretty good with the style I've had recently. I now know where I'm going with it.
When I was younger my hair was wavy, it used to tangle a lot and I would cry whenever my mum would put a brush through it. Eventually she got fed up with the stressful hair situation and chopped my hair off into a chin length bob 🤣 I had that bob with a full fringe until I was about 13 and it would always be frizzy and flick out at the ends after blow drying it. Around 13 i started to grow it out but this frizz insisted on staying there so I'd straighten it. Obviously this took its toll on my hair and it started to snap off. So from about the age of 28 I just used to blow dry it straight with leave in conditioner in it. I'm 36 now and I have mid length hair...it sits just under the bra strap around my back. I have what I called "fluffy hair" after I have blow dried it straight...I just leave it this way but it often gets quite knotty! I have had a whole life battle with my hair and I wondered if it is STILL wavy 🤔 I have tried to get my waves back using recommended products and although the waves are there, they usually end up dropping out halfway through the day and become frizzy and knotty so I always revert back to blow drying my hair straight 🙈 I'm so fed up with it! Can anyone recommend anything at all?! PLEASE
Oh you poor thing! I can't recommend anything because I'm the other way around, but I'm finding that knowing what my hair wants to do and working with it is working for me. I need to get it styled properly now, but at least we both know what we're working with now. Good luck to you.
Try using leave in conditioner after you shower. And use a light mouse. Try brush styling after you apply the products and scrunch. Learn to diffuse your hair or don't touch it and air dry and after it's air dried and the hair is completely dry and the products are locked then you can go in and scrunch a little to add some volume but don't scrunch too much. It may be that your hair is damaged. Try cutting it if it or or use good conditioner and leave in conditioner to repair and hydrate. Hope this helps.
