On the convertible models, you can hold down the bottom left button and unlock at the same time to put down the roof when you're not in the car. It's great to get the car ready when you're still talking with your mates next to it.

Missing the front windows open and close by pressing the lock buttons for 3-4 seconds. Mirrors also fold if they have the optional motors, when longpress lock. Cabriolet roof can be opened and closed with long and short presses too.

Thanks for video , couldn't get into car, central locking not working for some reason. All you need to do is to press down the Saab bottom on key so you can open the door normally(key into key hole on car door).Great design.

On later models the Saab logo is just a sticker. Key comes out without any problem

H Priest it does. Hit the unlock button twice and then hold it. Drops the top and lowers all the windows

And the exterior....at least on my 07 vector. The feature is called Follow Me Home. Same button as the video showed for the interior

Yup … turns on the exterior parking lights for a short period as well. Enables you to see to get the front door key into the lock! Handy feature !

It saved me 100 pounds to did not call lockmisth. Battery was dead and I did not know, that there is hidden key in my hand all the time :D BRAVO

You can't really. Just jump in quick and put the key in and the alarm should stop

you can press the light button, in the ignition and it will tell you which key you have and how many are programmed for the car

You put the key into the ignition, and turn it to "On". Then you push the "Light button" on the key, and the info-display in the car, will show the number of keys programmed for the car.

If you hold the onlock button it rolls down your windows and if you hold the lock it rolls them up just saying only saabs from Switzerland that were imported to the United States can do that they are called unicorns because they are very rare

@@rudolphrocker8963 Finder is the button on the fob, Follow Me Home is when you turn car off, open driver door, then flash the brights once. The actual headlights turn on with Follow Me Home for ~ 30s, only running and interior lights on Finder. At least that's how my 2010 2.0T works.

Hi everyone , I would like to ask on how to connect a Bluetooth phone to Saab Aero 9-3 And please note that the option of the settings in the car doesn't show PHONE DEVICE ... I had reseat the settings many times but didn't get a result....anyone knew about it... thanks in advance

If you're talking about the phone on your dash with the numbers, that's not Bluetooth for your actual phone. You can put a sim card in the car and dial from the actual car. If you have a newer model then there may be a Bluetooth option but that's different.

Open up both the fob and remove all the old item from the old unit to the new one. e-European parts has a video on it as well.

infact there are 5 functions all of which were just included and one which i discovered by accident. If you hold the Exterior and interior light button down it will infact set the alarm off... i thought the car was just being wierd but then i figured it out! so next time your going to your saab. give it a try. great if someones having a look inside your car. also great to see the look on there faces when they think theve annoyed knight rider lol

Why make a video if you don't even says the right fact? 1. You only need to press the trunk button. 2. All keys turns the alarm off. 3. The exterior lights also turns on and if you hold that button for 2 seconds, the panic alarm goes on.

Inadequate. Doesn't say what happens when you use the emergency key - i.e. the alarm goes off and you have to place the key fob in its position to turn off the alarm. If you are going to make a video then be thorough.

Indeed, this is how you turn off the alarm when your car battery goes dead You open your car with the key, because the remote fob will not connect and open your doors, and then the alarm will continue to go off as it has an internal battery Also the "interior" light button also lights up all the external lights on my 2004 and 2007 9-3's (in the UK), although only the park lights at the front of those cars. This illuminates all around the car so you can see everything at night
