No. The key pad is for dialing radio number for private call, texting a message and selecting a channel by entering the corresponding channel number. The codes (CTCSS or DCS) can ONLY be programmed by using CPS.
This feature can be programmed by using CPS. After programming, you can initiate this feature by a short or long press of a one-touch button. If you choose not to program, this feature can still be initiated by selecting in the menu.
