You should ask that gorgeous, intelligent, articulated lady that is explaining crystal clear all the details and functions of OnStar....To start her own RU-vid site about cars, because she´s more easy to understand that many other RU-vidrs that are making good money by showing cars and "explaining" their features. I´ve watched lots of guys even being sponsored to travel to Germany, France and Detroit to auto shows and cars presentations.

Yeah it only took them 2 hrs to find me. Oh wait they never did. My dealership warranty found me in less than 10 minute after i called requesting a tow. Mind you this was after i had talk to onstar for over 2hr in the cold ass winter. Yes a bought the onstar plan, had the most expensive one too and they still couldnt locate me. Funny that a secondary source got to me ten minutes after i called for help.i gave onstar -100 stars. My dealership warrenty for roadside assistance +100 stars
I have a 2007 GM car. The onstar navigation isn't visual - so it doesn't hold a candle to garmin navigation. I'd consider upgrading my onstar radio to a gps/radio that supports visual navigation. Is that available?
even if you dont have services with onstar, and you were to still get into a wreck, Onstar would still call into your vehicle to see if you are ok, as well as get first responders to your location :)
The Emergency button uses normal cell towers to connect to the OnStar call center, the GPS is satellite, and you get a better connection due to the cell antenna being on the roof of the vehicle
