How to use Onstar Navigation 

Yeah, if I have to talk to someone at Onstar in order to use it, I will use my phone instead...

Good video for anyone that's stuck with OnStar Nav. As I watch more of these OnStar Nav vids, the more I am turned off to buying a GM product. I don't want to be forced into using a nav the way OnStar forces you to use it. Calling people to use my nav unit? Do I have to beg and get permission to use my own car? No thanks. I have evaluated a lot of cars and will be pulling the trigger in the next couple of weeks. This one nav feature, as implemented, is causing me to rule out any GM product with this. .. . but like I said, you do your demo in a very thorough and informative way.

That's almost a deal breaker, I just want to drive with map pulled up. You spend almost 50k for a vehicle and no integrated nav. Wtf

Oh thank god I never tried this feature. I always wondered how to get that navigation working on my 2015 Camaro. But if I have to talk to someone everytime I need to go somewhere? Nah, and for like $30 a month on their cheaper plan? Screw that. Haha!

this vehicle had the infotainment head unit wherin they can use the onstar destination download or just the tbt navigation thru the radio.. usually it gets activated after 5 to 10mins after the activation.. aside from the tbt, u can use the blue button for roadside assistane, remote diagnostics and we have the remotelink mobile app for select 2010 and all 2011 up make and model vehicle...

I have the Same mylink on a 2016, is there any hacks to not use onstar. I personally dont think it's worth the 30 dollars a month,a fee for the navi feature when i have a phone with Google! I only use the radio, I would like to know if theres a jailbreak, lol hack feature to watch videos, and to see picture(I think I can but dont know how) but navigation would be more important

I can use Google maps to send destinations to my favorite truck the Silverado hd using virtual advisor to get destinations anytime.

I got a 2015 Malibu I don’t like that I payed 30 g for the car and yet I got to pay for On Star navigation. But I can Bluetooth my phone. But not be able to use Siri for my navigation thanks GM

Can you just put in your destination and follow regular GPS navigation with a map? Personally I think onstar is useless. I'd rather look at the map and see what is around me as I drive and I don't like having to talk to someone and tell them where I am going.
