I much prefer the mylink and CD player still intact. I’m getting a 2016 Malibu Lt and it still has a CD player which works great for me. I love Bluetooth but when I’m in the mood to listen to albums I bring cds with me. Mylink is probably the easiest and nicest stereo system I’ve used. More cars should use them
Great great video, You answered several questions I've been looking for. There is one think I can not find and hope you can help me with. On FM radio setting. When I want to change from one station to another. On all other radios I've had they had a setting that you could press and it would search for a station and play for 3 sec then go to the next station and play for 3 sec. I can not find this on my 2017 MyLink, can you help me??? Really a great video!!! Well done sir.
I cannot find any tutorial that answers my question. My bluetooth suddenly stopped understanding my command to 'call' from voice command. It will dial if I manually chose my contact but does not recognize any voice commands. How o I fix it?

How do I turn off the radio or just shut the audio up so I can hear the navigation and have a nice quiet drive? I don't want the radio playing but I want to be able to hear the navigation system. This is not easy or intuitive to figure out at all. I'm not trying to do anything advanced. I just want to be left alone to hear the bloody navigation.
We recently purchased a 2019 Terrain Denali. The one thing about the radio system that really irritates us is the fact that when the car is turned on the radio immediately begins to play. The only option seems to be to push the radio button which mutes the system. Is there no ON/OFF capability on this radio? We are familiar with the fact that you can hold the radio button for about 3 seconds, however, that not only shuts off the radio, but it shuts off the screen. Do we have a choice not to have the radio turn on automatically, but only when we want it on? Your input is appreciated.

I have observed 2 versions of interface on equinox 18. One is the same as what you showed; the other is more like a black-white version and the screen is not the smooth and shinny surface. Do you know what those are? Hilariously, this one is fancier but I feel more comfortable on the other when I was trying to link my phone through AUX cable. I just cant figure out how to do that. I cant find a config audio source page.
I just bought a 2018 Equinox and I'm having problems with my voice command. When I push the speech button, it activates OnStar. Sometimes it also activate my contacts on my phone. It has never sent me to the voice activation system where she ask a question. Anybody else have that issue?
How in the heck do you view pictures? My 2018 Equinox doesn't even show the same screens that the manual shows and nothing works as far as playing mp4 or jpg files. Why don't you do a video on playing other media besides the radio and music?
Bluetooth, a phone 2 the radio! Show texting, and music capabilities. Example I drive a 2017 Chevy Equinox for work. when I bluetooth, my phone contacts, phone history displays. I can play music, but I cant text? I dont know if that's the way it's set up on this vehicle?
Hi, Does anyone know how to dim the back-up camera display on a 2017 Chevy Silverado High Country. I can't tell you how many people I've asked in and out all the GM Sites and no one knows. When you put the truck in reverse, at night , I am blinded by the brightness of the screen. Hope someone can answer this minor dilemma, cause no one at me dealer could. Thanks a million.
I have the same issue with my 2018 Silverado. Sometimes it will dim with my instrument cluster dimmer (to the left of my light controls in my truck) It's SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO annoying! I just want to be able to dim ALL of the instruments and the radio display.
I figured it out... if you put the truck into drive, from park, too quickly (like 90% of us do naturally) the truck software doesn't give the backup cam time to properly load, thus the screen goes to "full brightness", then gets locked there. If you want to avoid this, you have to shift from park to drive (and through Reverse...) a bit slower, and give the Chevy software time to respond to this middle step. Give it a try, it will do it for you - guaranteed... I was a bit skeptical, then I tried and I could repeat this many times. Now it's only annoying if I'm in a big hurry and don't realize how bright it is, until I'm cruising down the interstate :(

You don't pay for the app, but you do pay for the data plan that feeds the app. Does not use a lot but the minimum data plan you can buy is $10 for 1 Gig a month. Also available is unlimited for $20 a month.
This link sucks - it takes forever for my iPhone to connect - I almost crash every time trying to get the damn thing to connect - slow as shit. I usually give up and then about 8 minutes later it connects
If your home screen does not have "Android Auto" or "Apple CarPlay" or "Shop" - you are out of luck. Some models don't have these Chevy Mylink features. I found out the hard way. I just purchased a Chevy Equinox 2017 and I can't use my Samsung Note 5 or Iphone 7 Plus. I was able to use an Iphone 6 plus using the USB plug. At least I have that for music like Pandora, iHeart Radio, Spotify and Amazon Music. The car could only make phone calls using Bluetooth.
