with todays technology todays plumbers have it so easy.back in the early 80's when we got into trouble in trade school we had to hammer and chisel cut 4" CI pipe that took some time lol
I just found an advertisement for this in a trade mag. I wish I had this 35 years ago when I first starting Plumbing! What a ball saver for sure and I love how easy it is to use overhead!!! The days of trying to use the "old" heavy and cumbersone #206 are over for me! Only problem is that I can not find it in stock anywhere now......
currently I use a sthil cutoff saw with a 14 inch diamond blade to cut pipe ductile iron usually 6 or 8 inch pipe. will this (238P) work for ductile iron pipe?
I sure wish this was around when I was still in the trades. The first time I used the manual type I thought I'd broken my back... I miss working, been retired for a while.
Soil pipe is quite literally trash metal. Its junk thats melded down and cast because its usually only for sewer waist and vent pipe. Its brittle garbage so this looks impressive. But its not .
