Hello, Put set your temperature and press HOLD button. May be yours is on programming and it takes it back to scheduled temperatures. Let me know if this doesnt work. Thanks

This means heating is not working. Please check the Furnace Filter and outside Furnace vents for any ice buildup. Once both checked, then restart the furnace few times. Fan should be on Auto, so fan doesnt run all the time. If you put the fan on ON, the blower helps circulate cold or hot air throughout your home until the temperature reaches the thermostat setting.

Hello, Did you change the settings to keep backlight permanently ON? If not, please go to 8:59 of this video regarding that and to get access to those settings, please watch video at 5:46 Configuration Menu Settings. Let me know if this doesn't help.

Hello, Please Press Run/Hold button to use manual settings. Once this setting is active, you will see tiny "Hold" on top of Room Temperature number. Hope this solves your problem.

Hello Amina, There can be few scenario- 1. If you don't have Air Conditioning then lowering the temperature will not work. You may have Outside temperature closer or higher than 80 Degree, which is warming up your home. 2. If your turned ON your Air conditioning, and its not cooling your house, then Air Conditioning system might not be working. please contact Air Conditioning Contractor 3. If your furnace is heating up continuously even after setting lower Temperature, please Contact Heating Contractor to check Thermostat wiring and Furnace system. Hope this information helps. Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Your furnace may be not heating the air. Please check if the outside vents are clear of any ice. Shut off Furnace for 30 minutes from main switch and restart. Please try this and let me know

@@henryhenry6139 If buttons are not working, then it seems to be Thermostat issue. You can try below- 1. Remove the thermostat from wall. You can hold it from top and bottom OR left and right, and pull it out. 2. Leave it out for 30 seconds 3. While it's out, check wire connections at the back and dust off the device. 4. Install it back and it will restart. 5. Try if it works. If this doesn't work, then Thermostat replacement will be required.

Hello, 1. If you resets, it will take you to factory settings 2. If you wants cooling / AC to work all the time, please make sure to choose the temperature and press HOLD. If you don't then it will use the schedule settings and they may change depending on how the schedule settings are set. I hope this helps.

Hello, HOLD is to hold the temperature that you want your house to have all the time. RUN is if you want to run it as per schedule. Please watch video at 2:46, it explains both in detail.

Press RUN/HOLD button after temperature is changed. Make sure display shows HOLD. Temperature will be held untill changed again.

Hello Luh, So you want to put HOLD on the temthat you want to set? The button that say HOLD/RUN, can be used for this. When HOLD it will hold your desired temperature. When at RUN, it will be using programmed or scheduled temperature.

Usually it resets automatically. Please check if the battery is inserted in the correct side. Then you can turn off the thermostat by turning off the furnace and restart. Thanks

Hello, Snowflake and Flame icons will be displayed (flashing) if the thermostat is in lockout mode to prevent the compressor from cycling too quickly. To turn it OFF, please go to Configuration Menu (watch video at 5:46 ) then go to Setting CL i.e. Compressor Lockout settings at 8:28 of the video to Turn off the setting. But this comes again, please get the system inspected by HVAC professional.

@@How2 Thank you so much for your reply. I did as you suggested, and it showed the CL code and then the upper left-hand corner it said OFF. Does this mean that the CL code was already off? I’m sorry to keep asking you questions, and I am grateful for your follow up.

Well, the HVAC technician told me that there was no coolant in the system due to an error that was made when they last recharged it. All is well with now. Thank you again for all of your very good advice!

Furnace might have Power issue or sensor issue. Please check Furnace Power and Replace filter. Turn off Furnace for 30 minutes after checking ab9ve and restart.

The control for the thermostat wont turn on even with new batteries

@@tony9526 it looks like Thermostat issue. I would recommend you to change the thermostat, please make sure you connect wiring correctly, if you decide to replace it by yourself. Or please contact HVAC professional.

Hello Daniel, There can be multiple reasons- 1. Please check if thermostat is set on HEAT mode. Which is system button on bottom left. 2. If its already ON heat mode, please raise temperature and check if Furnace is turning on in basement. Hope this helps. Please let me know.

Hello Raymond, There can be multiple reasons- 1. Please turn ON cool on thermostat 2. Please check AC power is ON from Main Electrical Breaker Panel or sub panel 3. Please check AC is working, sometimes it need cleaning or maintenance service after winter. 4. Wiring can be loose. Please double check above items

Hello, Setting AC Temperature is completely depends on your comfort level. This Thermostat can be anywhere between 7 C to 32 C. Please choose you comfort temperature. Thanks

@@lynettelamouche3252 Number must be lower to make it cooler. As lower number indicates lower temperatures which means cooler it gets.
