These things are are just too difficult. This is what I want to do... I want to be able to set my thermostat MANUALLY and keep it at that temperature until I want to change it MANUALLY again without the temperature changing on it's own. Can you do that?
My stupid thermostat can't go back into auto mode. After pressing the SYSTEM button to switch to cooling I can't go back to auto anymore. Anyone else having this problem? How do I fix this?
How about something simple to use? My head is spinning just listening to this woman. Get an engineer involved please who knows what she or he is doing.
My schedule is set to stay at 20 degrees all night and yet I constantly wake up to 18 degrees in my house. It's freezing and I'm frustrade. Wish I could just override the schedule and set the temp manually. This system is such a pain :/
Similar, I set mine to come on at 3am to 22, but it always says set to 21. So I changed the schedule for wake at 3am to be 23 and now when I wake up it finally says set to 22. All other times of schedule work fine except the first one,"wake" which is always a degree lower. Must be poor coding.
I have this thermostat (was there before I bought the property) and I eventually figured out how to program it, but I can not for the life of me figure out how to fix the units. It's in Farenheit!!! How do I fix it so it shows properly in Celcius? Or do I just need a new thermostat? This is incredibly irritating.
Go into Main Menu, then installer set up. When asked how many programs per day, set it to 2. They did have a change in their 1f80 series thermostats. If you google search the full model number (1F80-xxxx) you will find a manual to all the menu and installer set up items that can be changed. Hope this helps!
How do you do a simple temporary adjustment of the temperature? On our old thermostat you could press the down button to temporarily lower the temperature and it would hold it for 2 hours then return to the previously programmed schedule.
How do I adjust the hysteresis? I have a boiler system, and I would like to heat to go up to 70F and not come on again until the temperature drops 5 degrees?
No TROUBLESHOOTING ADVIXE….. my thermostat won’t even start with pushing the PROGRAM BUTTON as I usually do….. all sorts of weird numbers and letters show up….batteries replaced …. Thermostat is 9 yrs old….. probably needs replacing…,
Mine used to work but juat stopped turning on i hit the small button next to the light bulb and it would stayon for a few seconds. But now it dont turn on and the light bulb is still there try opening the battery slot for a few then close it see if that resets it... :)
This thing is so stupid. I just want to manually set a temperature....and won't even hold it. Wake up cold in the middle of the night in the dead of winter! Fn frustrating
