It works great! Cooks everything you throw at it in a good amount of time. We went off-roading and Hiking with a bunch of friends and their own trucks and after all that, we took a nice break in between and we all grilled/cooked and shared food. This grill cooked up some yummy brats in no time, some delicious Korean BBQ ribs and chicken at night and and some much needed and savory breakfast the next morning after camping over night. This was our first time trying thjs grill out and my kids and wife loved it! Two thumbs up! 👍🏽👍🏽

@@guichozuniga7385 In our ExpeditionVehicle, we use a hose and a five-gallon twenty-pounder propane bottle. The valve must be at the top. On its side or upside-down, it could dispense liquid propane, but the stove is engineered for gaseous propane. . The only time to use the bigger bottles upside-down is in a stable bracket with an adapter to re-fill the green pounders. Other RU-vidrs show that procedure.

it's best to wait for it to cool since the regulator could have conducted some heat from the burner and you have to touch it to unscrew the propane. (if its not hot then its fine to unscrew immediately, just make sure the burners are all off, obviously)

@quicho, Excellent q. The stove operates on gaseous propane. The green pounders are engineered to pull from the top, with the liquid propane in the bottom of the bottle. . So, 'yes', the bottle needs to be upright. . In our ExpeditionVehicle, we use a hose and a five-gallon twenty-pounder propane bottle. And 'yes', it pulls from the valve at the top. . A top-pull bottle on its side tends to dispense liquid propane... ... creating no end of excitement. Probably a bad idea.

For cooking a steak, light the burner, then turn it down a one half a degree of rotation on the knob so you don't burn the steak. Whoopsie, the burner went out because you turned to low, try again. Re-light it, oh, no the steak is burning again, try to turn it down with out turning it off. Remember that you only get about 1 degree of rotation to play with between full blast and off. Good luck doing anything aside from boiling water. Sorry Coleman, your Peak1 was my backpacking mainstay through the 90s but you kept burning my steak with this one. The temperature control was so bad.
