Thanks. I've never owned an iphone before and I just got the iphone 13. You went fast, but I could always pause when I wanted to try something. btw to take a screenshot i had to press those 2 buttons really quickly; on the Samsung Galaxy I had to hold them for a while. Now I just need to figure out how to print!
Thanks for producing such an informative and helpful video. After 9 years of owning Android devices, I’ve purchased an iPhone 13 Mini. Very impressed so far!
Same like me I have an iPhone SE right now and my iPhone 13 comes in tomorrow and I don’t even know how to fully work it yet so I’m with you man we are both on the same page
This was so informative and made me feel better in my decision to switch from Android to Apple. (Have not yet ordered my 13 mini but will be soon!) Thanks!
Thanks for this! I am a loyal Samsung user for a decade now and have never tried apple products until now. I'm switching to iPhone for better cam quality and processor. I hope apple won't disappoint.
update: just had my iP 13. So far, it's great. No lagging and all. I just miss some android features like seeing if my message is delivered, etc. But I love it so far! Been using it for 2 weeks.
@@jaquin103 I love the subtle details that makes everything easy and smooth. Less laggy, everything is easy, face recog is better, etc. From an avid android user, I'd say there are pros and cons, but I'd choose Apple more. With android, it's so hard to set up. There are a lot of unnecessary apps, but the beauty of it is that almost everything is customizable (whish is what Apple is achieving now, too). I'm not biased to either Android or Apple, but right now, I'm not planning on going back to android any time sooner. I don't miss it.
I noticed that sometimes you needed to press an icon more than once to get it to open. I have noticed that on my iPhone 13 mini, iOS 15, also. Is that a software glitch or something mechanical that is causing this touch sensibility response problem?
Thank you for your help, your video is very helpful to me,I just got the iPhone 13 this past Christmas,a gift from my wife,I never own a cellular before, again thank you very much.
Thanks for the informative video. I'm going from an 8+ to the 13 Mini. I'm pretty familiar with most of the stuff but I can't get my phone to shut down. When I press the button on the right, it just brings up Siri. I was interested in your comments about shooting in video mode instead of cinematic mode. Is it a higher quality that uses a lot more battery power over the typical video mode? I also wasn't clear on what the screen record function is. Is it an actual tape recorder that will capture the sounds around you? Is there a way to keep the home screen activated for longer? Mine locks up way too quickly for my liking.
I'm not very familiar with that phone, but it appears that you need to hold the volume down key and the power button simultaneously for a few seconds and then the power menu will appear. I'm not sure if that can be changed or what the reasoning is behind that. The screen recorder will record whatever is on your screen and save it as a video file. If you want to record audio only, you use the Voice Memos app. For the screen lock timeout, you can change that in Settings> Display & Brightness>Auto-Lock.
Press +, -, then press and hold power button Edit: that was reset, but volume down and power gives you slide to shut down option… or in settings/general scroll down to bottom.
This actually helped me a lot as I upgraded from an iPhone SE first gen to an iPhone 13 mini and that swipe thing was giving me the toughest time hahahaha I almost went back to an iPhone X tutorial but found this video first ;-)
Thank you so much for the video. Definitely helps me manoeuvre the phone smoothly. Question - is there an option for thumb print security instead of keying in my pin number every time I enter? Thanks!
Thank you for making this video. I received my phone yesterday and am trying yo get the hang of it. I can’t seem to swipe correctly to close open applications! I’m finding it really frustrating…any advice?
All iphones have the same set up until the X and up That is gestures I figured it out in a few minutes. I went from android to iphone 11 and when I went back to android I was like there was gestures. Now I'm back on iOS and I'm sticking with it
Good video. But the only way to really make it worth listening to and to understand ALL of what you were saying was to put the Playback Speed at 0.75. Can’t do Skittles, and/or Lattes AND do an instructional video. Good stuff. Thx.
That is part of the FaceID system. Its an infra red light so we can't see it with our eyes. Most cameras can pick it up so that's why it appears in the video.
Love you do some tips on how to maintain a good battery 🔋 health’s of you air pods pro. Or do talk about the air pod pro after a year of usage let us know what do you think about it and af you can some tips on how to maintain a good battery helalth
very helpful .one question on the i phone 13 mini...i have ringer set at high but the first ring or two are high then gradually down to almost nothing. Any ideas?
Please tell me where I can get a written content of what you chowed us in your video. I am 80 years old, English is not my mother tongue and the debit is much too fast for me to follow. I’m sure I could follow if I had written instructions.
If you're just moving to a different phone, you don't need to worry about your phone numbers. You remove the SIM card from the old phone and put it into the new phone. Or, if your carrier gives you a new SIM card, it should automatically bring the old number. If you are moving from a different carrier, you will need to port out your number from that carrier. You'll need to give Verizon your account number and/or PIN from your old carrier so that they can start the port out process.
iPhone 12 Pro is better than the regular 13. Just bc it’s new doesn’t mean it’s better, they both come with a lot of the same features but the 12 pro has all day battery life and comes with one more camera, a telephoto lens. There isn’t much more of a difference. If I had a choice of the two options you gave, iPhone 12 Pro.
@@jrudy00 I ran with my iPhone 7 Plus for 6 yrs until I saw pictures from a 12. Beautiful! So I traded my phone for a 13 because it has one advantage over 12 is the 60 fps video recording. More expensive for the 13 thru at&t, a slight bit and I was gonna get the pro12 but I took the 13 just to be more updated
Is there a way to change the font on individual apps. For instance my Walmart shopping app I cannot read the font which makes it very hard to shop. I cannot read Facebook comments, RU-vid comments or TikTok comments because the font is just too small on my I 13 mini. Almost as if I spent $1200 on a piece of equipment I can’t even use. So please help! Thank you
If your iPhone has FaceID (which most of the modern phones do), you don't see it. Its an IR light so we can't see it with our eyes. Most cameras can pick it up which is why it shows in the video.
This has always been my issue with APPLE, they assume that you already know how to operate/use their products, which makes gravitation to the APPLE ecosystem very difficult & frustrating at first, however having had my gripe, as a lifelong windows/android user I actually find the APPLE operating systems much more intuitive & more logical, so be patient, it all becomes easier.
