The only thing I tried that worked. THANK YOU! Side note. If any plays with the updated versions like 5.0-9494 for example and is having trouble getting this to work, just get it running in 5.0 first and then open your newer version afterward. Run your game in the newer version of Dolphin(for better performance in my case) but keep 5.0 open in the background idle. The Wiimote will work for current versions of Dolphin as long as you at least have 5.0 open at the same time. Hope that's helpful to some of you. =]
5:02 For people using version 5.0-9500 and beyond, your Wiimote will vibrant each time you start the emulator, the refresh function indicated here will not be available. Best way to check is to restart the Dolphin emulator and wait for the vibration.

Have to check which version I have installed but I followed your video And it seems to work! I tested mario kart and I could use the wiimote to point and select in the menu of this game. also when driving I could go to left and right with the wiimote. The refresh button didn't worked under dolphin controller configuration? It's in mode 4.
Thanks for a very to-the-point video. The input lag on Wiimote sensor motion isn't tiny but masssive! Easily over ten frames. And for me a deal breaker.
Honestly on PC it's going to be better than on a real wii. Because LCDs TVs had absolutely fucking awful input latency at the time of the console. They still do tbh. With my 1ms monitor it feels like nothing. Get a good monitor and input lag becomes a thing of the past.

I've bought the bar and downloaded a rom for skyward sword but even if the remote is vibrating when I open the game it tells me that the emulator disconnected the wii mote, I've tried everything and I'm kinda going crazy to make this work. Can you help?

Funny thing about Skywars Sword, th egame does not use a sensor bar for aiming, all done with the motion plus. Awesome evice, I just got mine and not set it up yet

I saw I have dolphin 3.5. My mame cabinet start directly into my mgalaxy fronted. With the mayflash also plugged in it disturbes my usb controller from my pc that controls my cabinet. So my joysticks and buttond didn't work. When unplugging the mayflash and restarting my pc it worked again. Is there a solution for this?

I just bought a Mayflash Bar and the sensor range for my wiimote is only ~24 inches (i measured with a ruler). Any farther than that and the wiimote is unresponsive on the screen. Is his normal?
I plugged with mayflash bar into my xbox to play games. The button inputs work just fine, but the IR sensitivity is way too high. Is there a way to lower my sensitivity?

Hey I know this video is ancient at this point, but I found my Mayflash Dolphinbar in a box and wanted to get it working with the latest Dolphin, I can't figure it out though. I have Real Wiimote selected, the Wiimote is paired to the bar, it's in Mode 4, and Continuous Scanning is enabled. But, no vibration, and the controller doesn't seem to be working in Dolphin. Any thoughts?

@@jcalvarado07 it works 100% bro im at the last temple before demise and the dolphin bar allows up to 4 wiimotes to work DO NOT USE 3rd party only LEGIT NINTENDO wiimotes and you wont have an issue at all

@@jcalvarado07 No as I use Windows 10 I simply bought the mayflash dolphin bar and wiimote motion plus and nunchuk from Amazon for 80$ CAD and both worked 100% with no issues.

I really can't recommend the DolphinBar. I was impressed at first but it stopped working after 3 weeks. I then found out that the left Infra-Red LED's broke. Many people on Amazon have reported this issue too.
You need to update the firmware. They fixed the burning LEDs in the firmware. You could replace the broken infrared LED with a new one after updating the firmware.
I literally just bought a pair of wii motes and that same bar just to play Mario Galaxy on Dolphin. I watched a guide about how to configure motion and aiming and I was like "fk this sht!" 😆
the wiimote pairs, the light is on, but when i launch the game supermario galaxy for example, its like the wiimote isn't plugged in. Wonder if i got a faulty bar. Update: I can use the wiimote as a mouse for my computer, but the dolphin doens't seem to work with it.
Hi, I have set my emulator and DolphinBar like you did, everytime I pressed Refresh my Wiimote rumble but when I started the game the message displayed "Wiimote 1 disconnected by emulated software". Do you know how to fix them?

To finally answer my own question, lol It works, but... I have a big tv, 40 inchs, and to calibrate the pointer for this kind of enviroment... It's not easy man. I tried the top, the buttom... it's not precise. The dude in the video is using a typical monitor, maybe the smaller radious makes the sensor more precise? At least that's the theory, I guess. Never played an actual wii in my entire life, I was assuming the mote worked if we pointed to the TV, not the actual bar. I have to point to the bar, I guide myself from there, I assumed we point out to the tv lol Maybe I was expecting too much. Still, it's playable.
***** Naah, the signal works fine. It's a matter of getting used to. I had the wrong impression watching other people playing this, they used the motion and the pointer as some kind of "extension" of the well know analog stick. In games like Metroid and Mario Galaxy, this shit works pretty well, almost on the same level of a mouse. At first, I imagined people simply pointing the thing to the tv itself, the pointer was super precise following the space ratio of the tv (not a small bar) etc... But the reality is far from this, lol This tech was launched 10 years ago, I was ingenous to believe nintendo achieved this kind of precision right at the get go.
***** It's because I have 15, 20 days to get accostumed with the motion thing. By no means it's more precise than a mouse, but it gets close. I was expecting some Minority Report shit, lol But what the tech actually does is pretty neat, serviceable. The materials is pretty cheap, but considering the opinion of a friend who actually owned a Wii years ago, the chinese control works exactly like the original.
I have a problem with the dolphin sensor bar! when i try to connect or sync with one original wii controller, it works fine! but when i try to sync a second original wii controller, it wont sync with the dolphin bar! i`m on modus 4 when i try to sync. in the description appears that the dolphin sensor bar works with up to 4 controllers! is there anything special what i must do to sync a second controller! i tried it like with the first controller, pressed the sync button on the dolphin sensor bar, and than i pressed the sync button on the wii controller. with this, i can sync one wii controller, but like i said it didnt work when i try to sync a second controller to play two player games in dolphin! i have also the latest firmware! when i tried to update it says that the latest firmware is already installed! i hope you can help me and sorry for my bad english, im from germany.
Looks like I lost my stand somehow! Time to get a new one. Too bad I already bought a nearly 50 dollar new wii remote and nunchuk since I read reviews from the fake ones for not working with Dolphin. I didn't even need to get a new remote and nunchuk, I just needed a new dolphin bar... fml. :D EDIT: For now, I have this going the total ghetto way. I literally used Scotch tape to stick it to the top of my TV. Unfortunately, it is covering the very top area, so I can't even see my browser tabs, lol.
