Why should you verify your Facebook business for WhatsApp?
On WhatsApp, can only start a conversation as a business or reply outside the 24-hour window if you are a verified business. Therefore, you need to verify your Facebook business in order to do this.

I would update something with the name of your business on it. But there's a good chance WhatsApp still doesn't allow you, because they only want registered business to use automations.

Thank you! You can appeal the decision of Meta within the WhatsApp Manager or you can try to apply again with different documents.

What is the goal to verify the BM ? if we can run ads without verification ? does it make us not get banned or lower the chances of being banned ? i thought the ban comes from violating the policy and not verification the buisness

The goal is that you can use all the features of the WhatsApp Business Platform. If you only want to run ads, you can do so without getting verified.

Thanks for your explanation! I have a question, if I want to get the green tick on WhatsApp Business account, does it mean that my Facebook Manager account also needs to be verified? And to get the Facebook Manager account verified, and is a must to fill up the business details, am I right?

Only large brands can get a green tick on their WhatsApp Business account, like Coca Cola.

Hey Yannis! Those are documents that Facebook accepts as document to prove your legal name or phone address. For example, one of them is a bank statement. Nevertheless, I always use Chamber of Commerce documents, they always work the best.

This doesn't prevent you from being banned. You should always follow the rules of Meta, otherwise you can get banned.

Finally i can verified my facebook businiess account. Now whenever i try to add my WhatsApp account i got an error "There was an error while sending your 2-factor confirmation code. Please try requesting one again." Do i need to activate my whatsapp business on my phone first ?

You need to use one of the Facebook services that needs verification. For example, if you add a WhatsApp phone number to your Facebook Business, you can start the verification process.

Yes, you can! You just need a registered business.

@@einnlleinhatt_ If you don't have a registered business, you cannot get verified for WhatsApp. I am not sure what country you are in, but in my country (the Netherlands) you can also register a business as an individual. This is called sole trader or sole proprietorship.

It could be. When you are verified, you still need to adhere to the rules of WhatsApp.

Do you have a registered business? If so, just upload documents of the chamber of commerce, always work.

It will not. That’s a separate process and is called “Meta Verified”.

Use a Meta product that needs verification. For example, add a WhatsApp business number to your Facebook business and them you will be eligible for verification.

My business verification is not verified more than 6 times and found this same message like " Your submission has been rejected. You can upload new documents or submit your original ones for another review." I was uploaded the Proper documents like (GST, Certificate of incorporation) which it is listed in the particulars. But i don't know the reason, why they are refused it and i am not getting the exact . How to contact them. If anybody knows then please advise me. Thanks in advance.

You should appeal the decision of Facebook. It is not blocked by Manychat, it is blocked by Meta.
